I know this if I were taking a test multiple choice and was doing a process of elimination to determine which party makes any sense, the first one I would cross out would be libertarian/anarchist.

The President of the USA didn’t do anything wrong. The articles prove that, they were written for political purposes and this political stunt is an example of Pelosis weakness as well as CA voters lack of participation/stupidity

Frankly, I can partially understand your comments about libertarians. I could maybe understand and even support it, if we were living in 1899. And I agree with the sentiment that in many ways, government has become too big, too bloated, too intrusive. But in a modern society, I think it's somewhat inescapable. And there's no going back unless you want to disappear off the grid.

But your comments about Trump, I can't figure out at this point if you're just trolling this thread, or if you really believe the crap you're spewing. The man is guilty. He ADMITTED it himself. There's no denying it. I think it's pretty easy to make a case that the Trump administration has been one of the swampiest, most corrupt governments in decades. Perhaps ever. He's a complete disgrace. But you're free to believe what you want. Heck, people also believe the Earth is flat.

Articles of impeachment are usually not the greatest thing in the world for demonstrating innocence. I mean, all things being equal, you'd hope for no articles of impeachment.

So, seeing as how you think you have some kind of defense here, please explain how "the articles prove that".

Well considering Ohio State beat Wisconsin twice this year and domestic cheese production has tanked as a result, now I'm of the opinion that the French are indeed influencing the 2020 election.

If Fox News had existed at the time, Nixon wouldn't have been impeached....of that I'm nearly certain.

I will fully grant that most media outlets & journalists are probably left of center. However, none of them function as an arm of a political party the same way that Fox News does for GOP.

For what it's worth, the image that he posted depicted former Speaker of the House, John Boehner. But then I doubt he knew that or even knew that Boehner is a Republican.

If you wanna knit pick you should be upset that your voice will never be heard and are nothing more than a number at the end of the day

You actively don't want to know if Donald Trump is a compromised president, do you? Like you would close your eyes and plug your ears to avoid knowing if it was otherwise unavoidable. I'm not even suggesting that he certainly is compromised (though, an abundance of evidence points to that conclusion) but I think one should at least keep their eyes open.

I would ask for an elaboration here, but something tells me I shouldn't bother. You entered this conversation with an attitude of defeatism. You do have your own agency, you know? I don't believe I'm just a number at the end of the day...which pretty much must mean that you aren't either. Trump doesn't have to be your guy.

Glad you're taking the impeachment easy. Should be nice to not have to chime in and pick sides, or argue in favor of one, and just sit with your popcorn taking in what happens. Right? Because that's what you're trying to advocate for not taking any of this seriously. Obviously any defense of the republicans would be right out then....

I find it funny when one side says this to the other, but they take their own side seriously. In fact, I think someone just did that like 2 pages back...
 
The sad thing is that lies repeated over time and propoganda create strong belief systems within peoples minds that lead to division of society as a whole in the USA.
It’s the mental toxins that have been ripping the country apart for years.
This whole thing since before Mueller to now with the impeachment sham is only really showing that now there are greater numbers of numbnuts and they love nothing more than ganging up on anyone who does not openly express hate for the President.
This effect of reinforcement of belief by numbers that has occurred has spread like a virus.
It prevents progress in society as a whole.
It has gotten quite brazen over the last several years.
Things like this impeachment are just meaningless political stunts.
It’s got nothing to do with justice for gods sake.
The real losers are the people.
It’s difficult to have civil communications anymore.
I have to say just looking at the last 30 years the country has gone in the garbage.
This impeach is just another nail it what was once a great nation.
It hasn’t been by the people or for the people for a long time.
