The thing about that era was the use of a never-heard-before tech, the turbo, so the use of it in motorsports went to a whole new level pushing everything to a almost homicide level, like the 1000+ hp on F1, +/-900 hp of the group C and +/-500 hp of group B monsters, ment road cars go turbo crazy, the F40 was the first one to reach the 200 mph barrier, then the 959, and the mid-stream cars like the Renault 5 Turbo, Saab 99 Turbo, that was turbo era and I'd be pleased if GT6 revived at least Group B cars, by making them premium

I could do without 80s f1. I would much rather have early 70s f1 :sly:

And I absolutely love group B and group C cars. They need to really emphasize their rallying events. The idea of group b and c is absolutely one of the best (and most dangerous) ideas that people have ever had. Putting as much power in something as light as possible. Some of the best drivers in history came during this era of driving, and I would love for PD to emphasize those eras

From the history of rally cars that have emerged throughout time, the Group B rally cars certainly had the best engine and exhaust sounds ever. Some of those forced induction engines were producing over 600 horsepower without any emission control and restrictions. That was the result of super pure sound.

I am very excited to see the Group B Audi in the trailer in premium glory. I really hope to see just one F1 turbo machine in final GT game on the PS3.

God, when I saw the group B quattro on the trailer and screenshots I wept. I really hope all the group B standards got recreated and got the premium treatment they deserve. How cool would that be?

It would be all for nothing if the rally section of the game isn't vastly improved.

Good to see another premium, and a Group B as well in the Quattro, that's what we need :D - so that is 5 Group B cars in GT5 now :D
