With the correct proportions/configuration, the multi-coloured Golf doesn't look that bad.

Toyota for some reason decided to do two tone for 2016 on the Prius C....

Black with colored highlights is something that only an exotic supercar can get away with. Doing that on a squatty little econocar is just the manufacturer saying "we figured out another way to jack up the price by a couple thousand".

As far as colors that don't look good on anything, I nominate GM Champagne Silver Metallic (aka the Grandma Car Color):

Only slightly less boring than beige by way of being a metallic color, and no matter what lighting it's under it just makes the car always look like it's never been washed. I swear I've also never seen anyone under the age of 50 driving a car in this color.

This.

But it's not just Toyota, since Ford are at it too, with their black editions for the Fiesta and Focus.

Besides looking quite tacky and distasteful, all black doesn't usually work on relatively humble hatchbacks and what not, let alone a full black and "insert other colour here" format.

Mind, it doesn't always work on super cars either, and in fact, the two-tone job looks even worse on something like a top-end super car in my opinion. After all, Mclarens MSO (Mclaren Special Operations) division has been at it too, with this tailored P1 :yuck:.

And the Impressive Wrap Canton, er..wrap, is much the same in that way, and is looks equally ugly if you ask me.

The whole black two-tone thing, just doesn't work for me, makes any car, be it a "normal" hatchback, or "top-end" super-car, really rather tacky, and cheap looking to me.

After working at a Ram/Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership. I never realized just how many colors the Rams come in. Yes, these are all factory colors.

Though they seem to be special order mainly for fleet Rams. I can only assume they're meant to help businesses that order these 2500s to be a brighter color to use to advertise.

I've seen that orange used on a lot of trucks owned by roadwork companies, so it most definitely is for visibility purposes.

Infiniti's Liquid Copper :yuck:

I don't know...I think it could work spectacularly well on an appropriate vehicle, and I'm not entirely sure that Infiniti isn't an appropriate vehicle...my gripe with the QX30 is how low the headlights and grill are in relation to the base of the windshield and the distance from it--it looks drowsy.

In the metal it looks worse. It's like they mixed all the water colors together and to me, it's just bland.

Legend Lime, which was offered on the pre-facelift 5th-gen Mustang, was truly a putrid color.

A friend of mine once said that "Moldy Bronze" was a better name for that color, and in person it really is more like a metallic brown with a sickly green tint to it. Pictures really don't truly show how gross it looks.

I'm sure some people would like this color, but I find that it's just too much.... BMW's Snapper Rocks Blue.

Really didn't like it in person when I saw it on someone's special ordered 435i Gran Coupe.
