I've seen that orange used on a lot of trucks owned by roadwork companies, so it most definitely is for visibility purposes.Though they seem to be special order mainly for fleet Rams. I can only assume they're meant to help businesses that order these 2500s to be a brighter color to use to advertise.
I don't know...I think it could work spectacularly well on an appropriate vehicle, and I'm not entirely sure that Infiniti isn't an appropriate vehicle...my gripe with the QX30 is how low the headlights and grill are in relation to the base of the windshield and the distance from it--it looks drowsy.Infiniti's Liquid Copper

At least Toyota try. Many manufacturers just stick with greys, then, add a red. "Oh we've got color in our palettes" .

A friend of mine once said that "Moldy Bronze" was a better name for that color, and in person it really is more like a metallic brown with a sickly green tint to it. Pictures really don't truly show how gross it looks.
