I've been looking for a red Evo VII GSR for a while now, planing to make it into a Tsukuba Monster and entering the Tsu trails here for fun if I ever get the time

I've seen it in every other color, but I want it in red and it has yet to show

Since we've no idea what day you're up to in the game, it's klind of difficult for us to say when it'll next appear for you!
It does appear 5 times during the 700 day cycle, at the following times during the first cycle. You'd have to work out how this corresponds to where you're at currently though.

45	309  -  315
59	407  -  413
83	575  -  581
84	582  -  588

Alternatively you could do the easy thing that is the answer to virtually every "where can I find....?" question and download the spreadsheet that allowed me to find this information in under a minute thanks to it's sortable nature, and it'll even calculate the cycle number you're on based on your current gameday, and them adjust the available week & day numbers to match where you're up to!
It's stickied at the top of the main GT4 board, and you'll need TornadoAlley's NTSC version since you're in the USA. (Don't forget to post a thank you to him for all the hard work he did in assembling this. 👍)

How is this for a stroke of luck ?, I started the game up to work on a few cars I have going right now, decided to check the lots to see if anything interesting was in them to buy, and guess what showed up...

Of course nothing happens until I talk about it, and then once I do, bam it's there the next session

Find the Complete Used Car List (NTSC) version thread.
Open it and download the file.
Open the file, filter the list by manufacturer: Mercedes
Select model: A 160 Avantgarde '98
Scroll across to "colour" column.

Doesn't matter, WinRAR still works. Just hit close. It'll close the warning box and leave the window open.
