You don't need to be lucky. Download my Complete PAL Used Car Cycles list (it can be found stickied to the top of this forum) and you'll know exactly what cars come when.

the Midget is quite rare in the Used Car Showroom II.., i've seen it a few times though, it appears only if it wants to.., try to download ^Famine's file^, then you can anticipate where it will show up.., 👍

I was somehow very lucky finding that thing. The moment I saw that manufacturer's race, I looked in Daihatsu new cars and couldn't find it, and then it was just sitting right there first try in the used car lot.

Of course, now I actually pay attention to the cycles and want the "black beauties", I'm on day 1420 or something...

Go to the BMW manufacturers race, I forget exactly what the race is called, but there's two different races and it's not 'Club M'. You need to use a BMW 120d or 120i IIRC, and you can win it in white, silver, green, or black.

Complete Used Car Listing for North America Release

Go here. Download the spreadsheet.
Use the filter bars at the top to select Toyota as the Manufacturer and Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) Shuichi Shigeno Version '00 as the Model.
You'll find about 15 examples of them throughout the 700 day cycle in the Used Car II lot.

Use the Cycle calculator in the top right corner to enter your current game day, and it'll work out for you which cycle you're currently on. Enter that number next to the column marked "cycle" and it'll change the week numbers and day numbers to be relevant to where you're currently up to.

Practically spoonfeeding you the info here, but I'm going to make you work to find out the exact days it appears, and hopefully you'll appreciate me doing this when you've got the spreadsheet, and can now do the same thing for every single used car in the game. Not only that, but it'll tell you what colour the car will be on any given day it appears, how much it will cost and how many miles it has on it! It's useful to help search for 6.2 mile specials too!

I sure am grateful for your help and in depth info , but unfortunatly I came across that spreadsheet before but still can't open that xls. file format. I tried using Adobe 6.0 but not sure what program works for it. I've also noticed in that same thread several of the Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) Shuichi Shigeno Version '00 cars, but I couldn't make anything of it. Thats why I posted here. Who is Shuichi Shigeno anyway?

So hopefully I have to keep checking the used car lot. Don't remember the day Im on but I am 61.7% complete and check the used car lot frequently. Seems like it's a rare car. I wouldn't mind being spoonfed some more though

If you want a Panda AE86 that's just a normal Trueno, look through the NTSC car guide for a "high-tech two-tone" Trueno. That's Panda paint. Don't ask why.

The Shigeno is effectively Takumi's car with a 1000rpm-early rev limiter. CF hood and all.

Thanks, I'll have to get Excel. Im also not much of an Initial D fan, and I kinda hated it up until recently, but the music in it is some of the best I've heard for driving, and the way the main character keeps finding cool ways of beating his opponents is also pretty interesting. I just don't like their long senseless discussions during the races as if the world is about to end if they don't try a certain driving technique lol..

Heh, yeah I know.. I have that one. Only 252hp though. With NOS it's a bit more exciting but not quite. My friend told me the Shigeno can get more HP, but this friend is full of it sometimes, so I doubt it.

Weird why they would have a 1000rpm early rev limit when Takumi has like 11k rpm in the anime. Is it the same HP as the panda paint one?
