If anyone is interested I have put together (what I believe) to be a complete list in a sortable Excel format similar to my used car list. If you follow the link in my sig you can download it if you are interested. I'm sure it doesn't have any new information when compared to Smallhorses list but if you want a spreadsheet version you are welcome to it.

hehehe! Every answer I've given here has been extracted from your spreadsheet TornadoAlley! Don't know where I'd be without it!

The list I made from other bits & pieces round GT Planet is just a list of every car in the game, the race requirements, prizecars and prizemoney. It's nowhere near as complete as your used car list!
I got so fed up of posting & re-posting links to your list that I suggested you create the stickied thread!

Glad to see the used car list has been handy actually I have been working on getting some of the colors put in but it is taking a long time. Right now I am about half way through the historic car lots and might have the historic lots done in a couple of weeks.

Some to think of it when I was making my other spreadsheet of every car in the game I think I may have double checked against your word document to see if I missed any cars. :)

It has alot of the same info but I just have it set up in columns were you can find a car you want and see what ways there are to get it (i.e. you can either buy it here or win it in this race)

Of course it is.
I used it to start my own spreadsheet (PAL version), but to make it easier for me to prepare WRS races, I added several columns : standard power and weight, maximum power and minimum weight (arcade mode and GT mode), prices for all parts, type of engine and displacement, etc.

But since I don't want the car choice to be too easy for the WRSers, I keep my spreadsheet for my personal use only ;)

Yes, i've been waiting for a white Lancer Evolution IV. I saw one in the used section early on, but i didn't have the $, and it's been at least 300 days without another. Frustrating, but part of the game :)

keep checking, its a pretty common color, either white or blue are pretty much the only color that you'll find in used car section 2.

Been looking for a Milano Red '01 Acura Integra Type-R for the longest... does that color even exsist in GT4 for that car? (I've seen it on plenty of honda's in GT4)

I'm afraid I haven't had a chance to work on the colors for anything besides the historic car lot.

I have all of the days (based on the first cycle) that it appears but that doesn't help you out much.

Hi,
I don't know if I am being a but blind but I can't find Lexus anywhere! I want an ls200 for the Toyota championship. I've obviously looked under toyota and japanese cars ... any clues please :)
cheers
Well are you looking for a used LS200?
Have you checked this thread....

Hope it points you in the right direction

Happy hunting

I am trying to find the black 2002 Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car as seen in GrumpEone's photo gallery thread.

I know you win the car by beating the 8 hour Motegi endurance race, but after using B-Spec to beat the race 8 times in total, I still get the Championship White version of the car every single time.

Does anyone that has won the black NSX-R Prototype Road Car remember under what circumstances they won the car? Is it only rewarded for victory in A-Spec mode? Am I just getting an unlucky draw with the random number generator for color?

You can win the car (I don't know if its black tho) in the Endurance Hall. Do the Super Speedway 150 miles.

The Super Speedway Endurance gives you a 2002 Honda NSX-R Prototype Race Car in burgundy, if I recall correctly. The car I am looking for, according to GrumpEone's gallery, is the Prototype Road Car in black. I'll try the Super Speedway race tonight anyway, just in case GrumpEone made a mistake in identifying the car.

My records show that the Race Car is awarded for Super Speedway 150 Miles, and the Road Car for Motegi 8 Hours. As for what colour is awarded, this might change similar to the car lineups, i.e. run a couple of short races, then do the enduro and you might get a different colour. Perhaps you keep getting the white car because you keep starting the enduro as the first race after resetting the console? My first Road Car was white, but the second was black.

I am pretty sure it came from the Motegi 8 Hours, I think I did the race in a under-powered car (far lower HP than the field), not sure if that makes a difference or not, or if it's completely random.

Anyway, I have put a Save game file link in a new thread, containing all the Black Beauties including the Black NSX-R Proto. Road Car (748 Cars total), and is located here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=101927

Maybe it's just bad luck with the random draw then. I'll try using B-Spec again tonight while I'm sleeping. If that doesn't work, I'll A-Spec the race Friday evening after work when I have enough spare time to try it. Thanks for all the help guys!

What is this Celica Supra X28-R really, and where do you find it?

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=2885013&postcount=361

(When I tried the PAL/US Car Finder, it seemed to return no cars for manufacturer Tom's, by-the-way)

The real car you can buy in GT4 is the Toyota Celica XX 2800GT '81, from the historic lot, and available on a highly regular basis, 76 times throughout the 700 day cycle! So frequently in fact that it's easier to list the weeks it doesn't appear than the weeks that it does!!!
What Rotary Junkie has done is take the GT4 car closest to the real life TOM's model, and tune it until it has more or less the same specs. The photo he posted is one of the real life car! That TOM's model doesn't exist in the game, but there is a TOM's model available to buy from the TOM's tuning shop in Tuner Village, namely the TOM's X540 Chaser.

As far as the above discussion on the availability of the Black NSX-R Prototype road car goes, I can vouch for the fact that neither low HP ride or number of lineups will make much of a difference. I used a used Toyota Sprinter Trueno S.S. Shigeno Version '00 in stock form (~190HP) in A-spec mode for this race, and cycled through 40-something lineups until I found one I could beat! Still won the white prizecar! The black one appears to be something of a rarity, but since Car-less managed one second time round it does suggest complete randomosity!
(I've only done this race once though, it's one of the few Endurance races I've got to go back for the full complement of A-spec points, I only made 168 in the Toyota, and I'd like to claim the full 200!)

I A-specced the Motegi 8h in a Lotus Elise with 128 BHP for 200 A-spec points, and got the silver NSX.
As for a connection between lineup and prize-car color.. I used to B-spec the Nürburgring 24h over and over to win all the F1's. There DID appear to be some sort of correlation, I remember a lineup with the M3 GTR, Spoon S2000, C-West Razo Silvia, Mercedes 190E Touring Car and an Opel Calibra would almost always yield the red F1. However, some times it didn't, leading me to conclude that there is no real connection, but that some colors are just more likely than others.

Toyota Esso UltraFlo Supra, 1998 Mini Cooper 1.3i, Aristo not GS300, Altezza not IS200, Skyline Coupe, with G35 Coupe. GT3-BMW 328Ci, All Formula GT Cars Such as F686, F687, F688, F090, F094, F094S, Green Toyota Supra, Lancer Evolution VII Rally Car Prototype, GTC-Lancer Evolution VII Rally Car Competetion trim.

It must have just been bad luck with the random number generator. I used B-Spec to beat the race overnight with a Clio Renault Sport Trophy V6 24V Race Car, the third time with this same vehicle. When I woke up, I claimed the Black NSX-R as my prize. I guess I finally just got lucky.

I didn't even know there was a silver version. It would be nice if all cars at least appeared in their respective dealers' showroom. Both the Prototype Race Car and Prototype Road Car do not appear anywhere in any Nissan showroom, so there is no way of knowing what colors are or are not available. Without this site, and especially GrumpEone, I would have never had a clue that there was a black NSX-R Road Car to be won.

The car I want... SO MUCH OH MY GOD!!! Is a...

...black IS 300 Sport Cross.

Where the heck do I find it?

Gettin' frustrated:(

Buy it. From the dealer.

If it's not available in black, you can't have one.

You can check out all available colors in arcade-mode. There are some exceptions, I don't think the black F1 or the "Black Beauties" are available in arcade, but the rest should be there.
