I was waiting for your contribution Mike.
Great collection some beautiful watches. 👍
My favourite from that bunch is the Omega Speedmaster Automatic.

Cheers Shaun.

Nice collection Mike. Mildy obsessive amount of wrist shots... ;)

At the moment I have been mostly wearing a Welder K-25B, like this...

But soon, hopefully around xmas, I'll be wearing one of these...

mmmm... Bell&Ross.

Skagen 433LSLC. Overpriced, but it was a gift. Considering a Casio F-91 series, or an MQ-24 for work purposes. Had the MQ once before - the most comfortable watch ever,.

Ta mate, it took some saving to get the Speedy - 2 years worth and then tons of searching to find a mint example as they are discontinued now 👍

Moar hair for you!

I'm a basic guy, need only one watch. I have some fancy Roots Canada watch valued at $125 Canadian. Nice, dependable digital watch. Has time, day, and month display. Another time can be programmed for another timezone, features 2 alarm settings, a stopwatch mode, and a timer that counts down. Had it for almost 3 years, battery hasn't died yet.

Expensive, super flashy, rich man Rolex for special occasions when I need to impress.

50quid Sekonda for daily use at work.

I'm wearing a Festina Tourchrono '06 (model F16222) on a day to day basis:

For special occasions, I've got a Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark IV, which is a heirloom from my grandfather:

Far too dear to me (and too expensive) to be worn every day, of course.

Thumbs up to every Omega owner, by the way.

Have a Seiko Aluminum Chrono for every day, (didn't find a pic of the exact model)

And my baby for festivities is this gorgeous baby:

Came in the helmet with motor so it doesn't deplete:

Limited to 2009 (model year)

Also since I have it it has gone up 250€ in value 👍

And some Swatch watches and G-shocks

My watch is a hand-me-down, but I still really like it. It's really small and slim, and it says 'Seiko Quartz' on it,and underneath that the logo of the company my dad works for. Reason I have it is that when they gave everyone the watches back whenever that was, he didn't care for it as he's not a watch person, and the slim design carried off on my wrist way better than the clunky digital thing I was wearing at the time (my wrist is way too small for alot the nice big ones in here :ouch:), so I sort of appropriated it! :sly:

Ah, watches. Loving some shots of watches up above! Making me jelly....

Anyway, I currently am wearing a watch that I've had since I was 14... (26 now, 12 years ago!). Its a Casio G-Shock watch and only replacement has been the battery. Considering that I use it in the pool often (swimming teaching) and had worn it while doing sports and normal rough and tumble stuff, its held up amazingly well.... Can't fault it.

Getting one of those is just a real guarantee that it will last a long time.

I had a cheap(ish) Next watch that I got as a present. I quite liked it as it was quite clear and told me the time at a glance. However, the battery ran out quite quickly.... Wasn't very impressed about that.

Would quite like a dress watch at some point, alas, money is always a factor!

I

Third is an Omega Speedmaster Michael Schumacher (includes his embossed signature at the back!) which used to be my father but since he realise that I'm a motorsport fan so he gave it to me. Anyway it now has something wrong with the mechanism and would die after a couple of hours unless being used.

Finally, a Lange and Sohne Glashutte which also used to be my father's. The watch looks fantastic but I rarely wear this because it looks too formal and classic...

Perhaps it's because it's an automatic? :P That Lange and Sohne looks lovely, been looking for a slim watch like that for a while.

Anyway, here's my only watch of note:
dscf7346d.jpg

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Automatic. I've since adjusted the bracelet, however there aren't that many occasions where I can wear it.

For every day use I have a cheapo £30 watch I bought from M&S.

Also, I'd kill for a Rolex Milgauss with the green glass. They look sweet.

Yeah mate, I know it's an automatic but my Tag could last way longer than the Omega. Once I can afford to, I'll send it back for some diagnosis.

And yes, the Lange and Sohne is fantastic. But as I said though, perhaps being too formal and classic for me to wear everyday :P

My dad was a timepiece collector. He has a couple of Oris, Jaguar, Mont Blanc, Tag, Guess and many many more... That's why I have the privellege to wear Tag, Omega and Lange and Sohne. Thanks dad :D

See, this is why I'm considering G-Shock watches right now. I know Casio make the claim how tough these watches are, but this is the first testimony I've ever come across. 👍

They are used by law enforcement and special forces the world over if you are looking for more endorsements :).

If you are looking for an indestructible watch, get a G-Shock. And if you don't want to worry about having to change a battery, get a 'Tough Solar' version that is solar powered 👍.

Yeah, I have seen one of their ads with something about military using those watches. Besides, telling by your gigantic post, you might know a thing or two about watches. Thanks for the tip.👍

Only real issue with the G-Shock watches is....

THEY'RE MASSIVE.

They're no subtle clues as to what it is. Its big and brash. But you definately know it will stand up to everyday life. Only issue with my watch is that I can't really wear it while swimming teaching as the clasp may snag the students.... ouchie. However, underwater, fantastic to use. There is also a "Frogman" series for (surprise, surprise) causal divers to use.

I should really explain what my Nike+ sportband is.

It's a watch that connects to a sensor I put in my shoes that measures distance, mile pace, calories, and chronograph. It's really useful for my cross country running but doesn't do splits. Really nice watch though. 60 bucks for it is quite pricey though.

Are you kidding? $60, and it does all that? I'm gonna look into it, I could always use more exercise.

I have a all gold Seiko with black face, gold numbers, and Rolex style band (the comfiest metal band out there I will add) and a stainless steel Seiko with a dark blue face that is also kinetic meaning it has no batteries and works by the movement of itself. You move, it moves, it charges and works forever.
