Still cold out there.

...and we almost have 4 hours of daylight!!

Been cloudy and low 60's the last couple days, will continue for the rest of the week with small chances of rain. Then when it blows out of here the highs will drop into the low 50's.

Rain, rain, rain.

It's been like that since Monday afternoon.

Good thing is it is not cold at all, around 14℃ right now.

Monday night, Tuesday morning, and this afternoon we've had thunderstorms here. We should be ankle deep in snow but the warm weather (50°F+) is welcome and the lack of snow makes the holiday travel easier.

I feel like I live in South Carolina right now. The rain has been dropping down since Monday night, and is supposed to hold up soon. My grandmother's back sitting room has flooded a little bit.... Didn't take long to figure out if it will, since she just bought the place last month.

There seems to be at least one very large tornado on the ground northeast of Dallas. I hope everyone in the area is safe, Texas as a whole is having some appalling weather at the moment, be it wintry or twisty.

The weather is just dreadful here. It has been raining the last two days. The temperature plummeted yesterday to around freezing. The rain has changed from rain to freezing rain and/or sleet. Snow is apparently on its way. On top of all of that, the wind has been a steady 20 MPH with gusts in the 30+ range. Fortunately, I have not needed to leave the house.

Still cold and windy. However, snow did not move in. Instead, we received freezing rain and sleet.

It is 73°F right now and its is slightly raining but not very heavy at the moment.
Edit: Its getting heavier now.

Joining the snowing rain/raining snow train. Weather.com says it will get up to 39 degrees at night, so I hope it melts away. Otherwise, there will be a lot of scraping.

Single digit lows and sub-freezing highs for at least the next week. YAY!

We're supposed to be getting our first snowstorm of the year starting tomorrow morning, up to 15in expected.

Thankfully everyone is still on holiday so the morning commute shouldn't be too bad.

Yesterday was crazy. We were sent home yesterday from work at noon because it was severely dangerous on the road yesterday. Only took about 30 minutes to turn the roads to solid ice. Was very windy and just a violent ice storm all night.

Luckily my car is AWD or I would not have been able to get out of my garage this morning. Had about a 8" drift of snow then ice to drive through. The ice on the snow was so thick not only could you stand on it, but the actually drove on top of it for a while before breaking through. The main roads were clear but the side roads were very bad.

Now it is around 40 and everything is melting.
