Looking forward to the weekend for this:

We had a storm cell come through last night with a dust storm in front of it. The light poles about 100 yards away from my apartment vanished it was so thick.

Phoenix just got rocked by a nasty monsoon storm, which is in the process of going through the east valley still as I type this. Flooding everywhere, power out. Current radar situation: (check the dust storm on radar bottom right)

Edit: Those cells are now transferring south and I just snapped this from my balcony. EPIC shelf cloud!!

Some active monsoons coming through the next few days thanks to tropical storm Javier. Already had a dust storm this morning and some good rain in various places that as usual are not where I am at.

We were on our way to dinner last night when we saw this roll through just north of us. It had some high winds and heavy rain, but only lasted about 15 minutes.

The tornado sirens are blaring right now, so of course I need to go outside and look at the sky.
I do that all the time too. I usually go out just to hear the sirens most of the time.

I had heard that the storm that triggered your tornado warning reportedly had a rain-wrapped tornado. Also, they're saying that two tornadoes are heading towards Grand Rapids. It's going to be a busy day for Southern MI for sure.

My wife was at work when the tornado went by and said she saw it, the sister store to their down the road had the roof cave in too. I went over to help a co-worker after everything cleared up, it's probably the most weather related damage I think I've ever seen in this area.

One of the trees in our yard got brought down by yesterday's storm that apparently did damage all over the country. Nothing compared to the tornadoes in America really, but extraordinary by our standards.

First tornado warning in this county in years. Apparently someone called in and reported that they saw a tornado near the county line. Heard the sirens go off from the house and found out after the fact.

There was a confirmed tornado touchdown just a few years ago just south of Onsted where I grew up. Overturned some farm machinery and tore the roof off of a barn.

Wasn't that part of the squall line that also contained the tornado that hit Dexter?

Not sure, but could be. I only know about the one in Onsted because it was some people I know/went to school with whose property was hit. It was Onsted Hwy and Warner Rd. area.

Found the link.

That would have been before then because Dexter was in 2012. I keep forgetting about that one in Onsted because I remember Dexter and Dundee- which is odd considering the latter was from the same storm as the Onsted one.

The temperature dropped and the clouds and rain came in like clockwork on the 1st of September, heralding the beginning of the end of the British Summer. Still humid as hell though.

We had a nice storm last night an it's supposed to be rainy all week. Which wouldn't be a problem if we weren't already under a week long flash flood watch.

I don't think we'll be getting the storm tonight though as it looks to be way up north according to the radar.

A nice storm?
That storm was Severe Warned for me. :grumpy:

Tonight's storms are now just in Nebraska, Should probably arrive here probably that lovely 2:30, 3 am again. :grumpy:

We've been overcast for the last 4 days straight but no rain. If it's going to be gray, it should be wet, too.

I post in here way too much. :P

Today's situation: Wet with incoming tropical storm. Looks like the center will just miss Tucson. Mostly a drizzle in my area unfortunately. :(
