glad ya got this goin. these are much easier to make submissions for and less hairpulling than trying to get a complete lap done.

record the track view
then run the replay a second time and record the chase view
stick both of those replays on your computer and render a complete video including both clips with something like Windows Movie Maker or Vegas, etc.

Sweet, can't wait to see what everyone did with the corners. I'm proud with my submission, since I am quite new to drifting in GT4 and drifting that track. Good Luck to everyone that has submitted.

Ok, the deadline has passed. NK has just informed us of his resignation from this week's event, so that brings our numbers down to 14.
I got a total of 12 clips returned to me. One of the two missing clips was uncertain in the first place, so really 12 clips out of 13 participants. Not a bad debut, if I may say.
I have not viewed all the clips yet myself, but some members informed me in their pm that they used 3 cameras instead of two. No biggie this week. It's kind of a test run anyways. These runs are valid.
The poll is up, you may begin voting now. The results are public - entrants, please be a good sport and vote for a clip other than your own (even if it is your belief that your clip is the best of the bunch, vote for the second best). It will close in a week.

in addition to posting comments about the clips, I'd also like to hear people's opinions about the polling. Any comments welcome.
I'm wondering if people thing the number of videos be limited to a top 5 or 10 as selected by the theme creator if a large amount are submitted?
If not, then I also want to hear opinions about whether voters be allowed more than a single vote. I'm willing to allow 2 votes per voter in the future, but not if number of poll options is reduced.

Those are some good questions BL.
I like the fact that everyone that enters gets in, but maybe if there was ever a large amount of entrys like 20 or so. You might want to narrow it down. Might start getting hard if there were too many videos to watch.
I think that a single vote is good enough, each user just picks the one they think is best and thats it.
I was also thinking about the way people record their videos. There is one in the poll that is very hard to watch. Maybe tighter restrictions.
Good competition, looking forward to getting my entry in for the next.

i think two votes would be nice. i'd still keep everything else the same. its good to have so much particpation even if the quality isnt the best on some. at least they are putting the effort in.
the only thing that messes with my head is the kmh and mph. thats the first thing i look at and seeing 130s and 80s is confusing to me. but i think i just needa learn the conversion better.

for me,
I thiink the 4th video get a good 1st corner but the handbrake at the end makes me want change my vote....
,anyway. I like the last one for the 3 corner linking but in general i prefer more angle and more speed 
, but thats my opinion.
