Things I Would Like to see

Well here are the things that I would like to see in GT5

1.) More cars especially a 99-02 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris
2.) Motorcycles (not fond of them but i think it would be cool to drive)
3.) Tuning parts for the exterior of the car such as Bumpers, Hoods, Sideskirts, Roof Scoops, Wide body kits, taillights, headlights, muffles (exhaust pipe) (the same tuning as Need For Speed Underground 2) but they will all be brand name parts Like Bomex, C-West, Top-Secret and tons more.
4.) Enterior Parts such as racing seats, guages, steering wheels and others you could view from a view that shows all that stuff
5.) Engine Swaps
6.) The ability to change the size of your rims you want to buy (I hate it when you go to buy rims and the originals were 15"s and the new rims look dumb cause they stay the same size.)
7.) Tuning maps for the Turbo, ECU and others
8.) Carbon fiber trunks, hoods, doors, bumpers, and others.
9.) Paintshop where you could add stickers
10.) Damage
11.) A dyno

Well maybe you should get a mod to lock this then, so we don't ruin your very own personal thread with thought of how forums are supposed to work.

Basically, all this is done to conserve costs and stuff for running this site. I'm not one of the heads of this site, but that's how it goes. Then too, who wants to see 10 threads about the same subject? It would work better to feature one big thread so that others can reply to it, rather than make seperate threads that get redundant all too fast. Transam1111, we are not bashing you on what you want. We read in a lot on what people would like to see. All many of us are saying is that you're better off posting your wants in a thread other people are using rather than come up with 10 threads on the same subject.

If you insist on getting mad at people (Post #3 by yourself), then you're likely to get Moderators involved. Just because you want a personal post doesn't mean that it's any more special than an ongoing thread. Think of an ongoing existing discussion as a fashion trend. If you don't follow trends, you're not likely to look your best. So rather than a seperate discussion, why not just reply to one or both of the threads G25RJ mentioned? Your views will likely be seen and you may get a few compliments or rants about your post if you're lucky.

That's just my advice. But if you choose to stay on this route with many other ongoing threads, your threads will likely be closed like (maybe) this one.

The option to add randomly generated traffic and road hazards (oil, debris, etc.) to the Nurburgring, just like you'd find if you went to drive there on the days it's open to the public in real life. Maybe even a cameo appearance by Sabine Schmitz in her BMW M5 ring taxi. :-]

Selectable weather and time of day for all tracks.

I think it would be cool to be able to transfer a couple of your cars from GT4 onto GT5. That would be one of the best features in my opinion cuz I really like some of my cars in GT4 and it would be awesome to get to use them in GT5! :) 👍

in-depth engine tuning (i.e. tappeting, frankenstein, etc.)
working headlights, tailights, signal / cheek lights
simulating variable valve timing
hud / cluster / instrument panel that are identical to realife
better car sounds
proper sound effect in times of mistakes (i.e. mishift, misclutch, etc.)
simulating the car's proper drivetrain (i.e. if a certain car model only comes in M/T in realife then it must not have an A/T version in the next-gen GT game)
more cars! not only from europe, us and japan... also include other vehicle model from other countries (i.e. vehicles from the third world / ASEAN)

for example the Honda City VTi (SX8, a mutant from Civic EF) it comes with a D-series 1.5 VTEC engine with exellent power-to-weight ratio (more or less 900kg 4-door)

or more Korean cars (like daewoo and kia), and introduce cars from China, Malaysia... etc...

I would love a dyno and tuning maps, kinda surprise it's not in the game.

Definitely... but the rest of that stuff? Like someone else said, this isn't Need for Speed.

And to all the people that love lamblasting others for starting redundant threads, you could probably help the problem yourselves by not even bothering to reply.
