Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

Someone has already mentioned multi-class racing, but I'd love to see it implemented in online mode. Classes can be determined by setting PP/HP/kg limits for each, or can be selected from a list of real-life classes such as GT300, GT500, LMP1, F1, GP2 etc.

I want a Golden Egg laying Ostrich which can lap Daytona in 4 seconds.

And the return of those lovely French / Italian street tracks in GT4.

Background of your vehicle & pit crews in the service bays, while you're in the tuning menu. Crews move around with tools & parts, physical vehicle changes (aero parts, suspension stance, etc) accordingly, based on tuning options, all done in real time. Camera rotation around the service bay.

I loved Opera Paris in GT4, but I think it needs some modifications if it were to return for GT6. I think it would be perfect if GT6 featured turbo era F1 cars, there's something about Opera Paris's faster sections which reminds me of the Adelaide Circuit for some reason, even if the latter had much more room.

Tune up shop.. instead of having to pay for the parts one by one, why not give us a shopping cart and pay for the expenses during check out.

Maybe (just maybe) we can have more than 16 cars maximum racing either online or offline. Yes, it would be cool to have more competition when online. Offline wouldn't be a bad idea either. I doubt this will happen, though, since online servers get too laggy and offline races start glitching.

I think it was already confirmed somewhere that there will only be a max of 16 still. I could be wrong?

I would like better race starts. I hate they way rolling starts are now. I shouldn't have to wait until my car gets to the start line to begin racing while all the other cars in front of me are already off and going. There is no racing series in the world that works like that.

Thank god for online standing starts.

Well lets face it, car modification has been on everyone's lips since GT2, and bringing in being able to racing modify 17 cars out of over 1000 just doesn't cut it, at least have racing mod options that let you choose between say 5 preset customization's, and on at LEAST a few hundred cars, because that is what IS losing people to the Forza franchise.

I have been a GT fan since the first one came out, and have stuck with it, but if number 6 just does what they did for 5 and copies across all the standard cars that were from number 4, and we have 800 outdated looking cars with no interior view, no customization, and physics that feel like they were taking from the megadrive, GT will continue losing its fans, until they are not selling enough to make another.

So customization, physics, NEW cars or at least old ones redone do that they look like they are pushing the PS3 barrier, are not things we want to see, they are things we need to see, to see the greatest racing franchise continue to thrive!

"Continue to thrive"

Hmmmm.

And anyway, just from the Alpine and Countach, it looks like Standard cars are getting better generally.

Good rolling start. :) Edit: It's at like 1:12 in the video.

The GT5 style gives too much of an advantage. The only reason we're able to catch up to the cars in front, is purely our talent over the lack-lustre AI. In my opinion, that highlights some of the most major flaws with GT5. It's why I don't do GT5 offline much, anymore. Or even online, for that matter, but that's to a lesser extent.

One small detail I would like to see in GT 6 would be to change the standard 100 liter fuel tank and have each car have its factory fuel capacities. It would make endurance races more accurate and make pit strategies more realistic. Also the possibility to add a fuel cell as one of the racing modification options.

👍 The kart from my post above would weigh something like 600 lbs. more with 100 litres of fuel onboard. We run, normally, around a single liter of fuel for a full race day. :scared:

More cars in a race.

Realistic racing implies a realistic competition. Realistic in terms of quality of opponents and the number of competitors.
That's the core of racing.

With more than 16 cars it will be even more frustrating with the stupid A.I.

Needs about 32 for a good endurance race as 6-8 drop off the back, and 4-6 scream ahead. Still end up being a good race then. AI would need more common sense, thats a given.

Dude do you really need to link to a karting video at any given opportunity?

Nurburgring needs at least 24 cars as a minimum. That way you could have eight cars in three different classes 👍

Like 👍

And make it more:

- LeSarthe
- Silverstone
- SpaFrancorchamps
- Suzuka (24hours there would be )
- TwinringMotegi

As far as I know these tracks are all known as Endurance-racing tracks. But something like Route246 would be an epic Endurance track too, so if they (PD) really do good and put's the PS3 to it's limits, just give all the tracks this awesome feature.

moar endserence lel

On the serious side, maybe a bit more tuning options and the ability to use the clutch with a DS3.
