Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

I want room hosts to be able to run spec races using cars from their garage.

For example, if you want run a spec race now you have two options:

1. Select a car from the recommended list and force everyone to drive it
2. Select a specific car and demand that everyone owns and selects that car.

I want to be able to select a car from my garage, and have everyone in the room be able to drive an exact copy of that car; whether they own it or not.

That would make Spec/Stock lobbies FAR more interesting and less redundant.

I would've thought incorporating a Wind tunnel with all the analysis would require inputting an entire software such as Phoenics into the game which i think is unrealistic.

also, ability to adjust seats made me LOL

Standard cockpit camera angles in GT5 (and in GT6, judging by the demo) are absolutely awful and they make me want to be sick. There should at least be an option to zoom in or out; some people really like looking at interiors of cars they won't probably even see in their lives.

I want a blank studio photomode space like the one you see in the NCD

There is; in the in-game options. But it's fixed...

Scrap the point model and just make licences mandatory again. I know someone has said mandatory tests but the XP model is rubbish.

If progression through the game is primarily done via licences why not provide the option to do different tests. ie
- The traditional try and fail method.
or
- A shorter test that must be completed without any failures.

Good idea, but some people will complain about them being too hard :ouch:

They look like they're getting rid of the XP system for GT6 and the license system is changing a little (You don't have to look at a screen shouting fail in the GT Academy demo when you eff up).

"Chicka chicka, boooom ohh yeah! Chicka chicka booommm oohhh yeahhhh! Bom bom chik chik bom bom!"

Some race tracks from older GT games would be nice:

I would mention here:
-Pikes Peak hill climb
-Seattle course (nice to use with muscle cars as it has 90 degrees corners which are nice to slide on with that cars and big jumps)
-there was also in GT4 a very long and nice test track with lots of corners types
-cita di aria
-Las Vegas drag Strip

edit:
Sorry , i forgot, besides cars and tracks....lol

or keep the xp system and use the licence system. For example if i don't have the licence to progress ill eventually earn enough XP to no longer need the license 👍

I just hope PD keeps in mind that not all Gran Turismo players have a steeringwheel/pedals and hours of free time to spend on a game. I race to earn money just to expand my carcollection. I don't care about laptimes or searching for the perfect lap. I want 1000 new cars an no endurance races.

I'm gonna say this again. Custom event generator, with full control over what cars can take part (online and offline). This would be the single best addition and takes little to no work

Ability to look around the exterior of a car using the right analog stick. Most crucial element of the free roam experience!

Gran turismo is about racing... not free roam. This isn't grand theft auto or the ps2 NFS games.

Using huge text size and bold letters don't make your words any more worth.

Anyone else's eyes cross while scrolling through this list? LOL, I could have built mine own game in the time it would take... ;)

Anyway, they need to seriously abandon and disavow any form of a "performance point system.

The more filters the better.

All light bulbs should be used. Turn signals are understandably excluded, but 4way hazards when e-breaking would be awesome.

Get serious about damage and quit insulting us, or lose it altogether. Opting out should remain an option.

Proper wheel bolt patterns and more custom wheels. Please don't forget the six bolt wheels for the Vipers ;)

ILDD... don't let your hate get in the way of understanding. Cinz has a valid point. You could actually view the side of the car while driving, using the outside view in GT2 and/or 3. It worked fine.then and there was.good reason to abandon the view.

I've been thinking re-Car makers having restrictions on visual damage, but a big number of the premium cars in GT5 are present in other games and can be damaged so still not sure about that.
