Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

I would like to see tags on cars for specific motorsports they're designed for, to stop things like taking the red bull prototype into stuff like the super gt, this would make the game a little more realistic and stop people for "cheating" their way through the game.

Eg, when you enter the super gt, you can only use cars with the "super gt" tag, the same would go for Le Mans, f1, wrc and all other serious motorsports.

In all honesty I'd like the race restrictions to be more.......restricting?

I'd also love them for sort out the rally physics and events.

Scrap karting and introduce Race Trucks and Motorbikes but not scramble and dirt bikes as there for strange people just track bikes with big power and you can race them against cars in a similar pace race.

I had an idea.

Say, when you are buying a car, (a road car, really) you have options, like you would when buying a real car. You could get larger wheels for better handling (less tire wall deformation), but that adds weight, affecting acceleration. You could delete the air conditioner in certain cars to make it lighter, but Bob could overheat and not drive as well. Or even get a bigger, more powerful engine, but with lower fuel efficiency, affecting your pit strategy in longer races. Not to sound self centered, but this is an excellent idea.

I think it would be cool to sell back parts... ex.
You start the game with a civic and put a mid rpm turbo on it. After you Save a little up, you can sell it back for 1/2 the original price to buy a high rpm turbo.

To elaborate on that idea, have manufacturer options available with cars that have these options in real life. For example, ceramic brakes, sports suspension, etc. From base models to luxury packs, to full-on racing gear (OEM)

@ildd, to elaborate on that idea, maybe have an online market, where drivers can sell their parts to other drivers. Some can have parts that you need to rebuild your car (another idea), others have upgrade parts, etc.

The only problem that I see with this is that players can sell parts for whatever price they feel is “necessary"

1) Ability to switch from h gate to sequential on the fly for the G27.
2) Practice the track before the race on the same screen.
3) Ability while practicing to pause the game and adjust gear ratios, aerodynamics, etc without having to exit out of the practice session. (Correct me if Im wrong, you were able to do that in GT3?)
4) More Race Mods (17 cars....really?)
5) I get the idea that they are trying to stay true to the spirit of the cars but honestly (gonna get flak for this) PD needs to let their ego down just a little and let the players decide how their cars look. Its way past time for it.
6) Replay car telemetry. Im not one for comparing things, instead judging on individual merits alone, Forza had a rather extensive list of vehicle telemetry rather than just the position and lap times of each car.

Wagon only race. Shooting break race. Tons more Race mods. More US and European race cars. Regonal correct pricing.

I would like the ability to select opponents in an Arcade race. Its quite annoying to try to create some sort of realistic race, and have a rally SUV and a GT300 car on the grid next to each other behind a '63 stingray

I have done a Fiat 500 One-Make at the Nurb in a full room once. No joke was literally the top 5 best races I've ever had.

i want to see parts, stickers and liveries from after market brands, much better damage and failures from car parts and leakages. also a proper career mode were you dont just go from zero to hero in 2 hours. and so you can race for other teams and get sponsored by real brands. you should also be able to adjust seating, steering positions in the car and turn of things like traction control on the go.

i will post some more as i think of them

You can already do that and change brake biased along with 4WD Tourqe & ASM.

I don't know if it's been said or not, but I'd like to be able to move the view of the car around in the dealership when choosing colors, also in gt auto (or equivalent). Especially when buying wheels and/ or aero kit. NFS series has had success with this since PS2, and it's really annoying when I can't get the right angle to decide if I want a certain color car, type of wheels, or aero kit. Then, wight when I'm about to get the view I want *bang* new angle!

While I'm on the subject, how about when choosing wheels put the factory as the first choice so I can go back and compare instead of trying to remember exactly how they look or exiting then re-entering the menu

I would like to see more custom parts, Spacers for wheels, more wheels, more bodykits (real ones please).

Modifications like twin turbos etc, to make more realistic tuned cars replicas that do excist in real life. That would be just great.

IMO what Gran Turismo needs is some kind of crash simulation like in the codemasters F1 games. When I mess up and drive my car into the wall at 200 km/h my race should be over. When I brake late and rear-end the car in front, both cars should be damaged. This isn't even about visible damage. It just kills the immersion for me if crashes are of no consequence.

Also I'd really like proper crash impact sound effects. That characteristic Gran Turismo "muffled bump" regardless of what you hit and at what speed you crash just annoys me.

I'd like to see that in competitions SRF is disabled, turned off by default and cannot be turned on.

To me watching runs like this is a disgrace, closer to mario kart than to a wannabe simulator. One of the main reasons behind those drifts is SRF was forced on (yep) in GT:A 2013.

We know SRF is a made up assist by PD that destroys a big part of this game's simulation side, by giving magical grip to the tires that are losing it, but if you are going for better lap times then it's best to use the assist nonetheless because it's free grip (1) and makes drifting on the first part of the corner the fastest way of driving around a circuit, placing the car where you want to faster then accelerating in a straight line in the second part (2).

Therefore, if an event is looking to test players' driving skills in a simulation basis SRF should be disabled entirely, forced off, otherwise this unrealistic driving will continue.

I'd like to see standing water in the low areas of the race track after it rains. And to add to that, I'd also like a dry line to emerge after x amount of laps of cars running the same line.

I would like:

- In arcade mode; to be able to choose how many opponents I race against exactly (1-15).
- Choose to race against AI that drive what cars I have in my garage.
- An event creator for offline mode.
