Only cars that are capable of, or close to, 300mph should be discussed here, and although I'm not going to complain unduly, I think anything else should be in a separate thread.

Try a RUF maybe? Those are the only RR things I can think of with power. Unless you wanna hybridify a karhmen ghia(sp?) and just do it for fun.

Hi, intake, is this the first time we've had a Mitsubishi as someone's entry car? Certainly the first time it's been that high in the Mitsubishi. Anyway, I have to ask, before putting your speed on the Leaderboard: did you read and follow all of the rules outlined in Post #1?

nope it aint the first time, I-RUNNER is the fastest AFAIK (rank 163) for 327.32 mph. yes i have read and followed the rules (i was about to post earlier than that after i've discovered that you cant wheelie trick )

You can try, but it's certainly not an easy task. For some reason, GT4 seems to disapprove of rear-biased weight distribution for speed runs.

hi friends, i managed to clock my toyota minolta at 565km/h. i don't know how much is that in mph. plus my ps2 had broken so i cannot play again as yet. any body have a rough idea what it is in mph?

Hi, just like vic257 I got a Bentley Speed 8 to 507.something km/hr but I'm gonna need to verfiy this mph speed,(it should be just under 320mph) I'll just briefly switch the units over then switch back. This is my first time in this thread and I'm gonna need help to get a picture to verify this more than believeable claim. I have a digital camera that I can take a photo of it with but I don't know if I can copy and paste in a thread, any help guys? I'm no computer whiz, please help. Can I also ask if there were ever any settings posted for the leader on the leader board that reached 385mph in a Tommy Kaira, I have to see this to believe this.

Nice work, xseppukux - but before I put those speeds on the Leaderboard, I've got to ask you to verify that you followed all of the rules outlined in Post #1, as Viper says. Nothing personal, just that we have to make sure the Leaderboard is entirely truthful

Currently, I'm working on a SLR, I'm not too sure it'll make it but IIRC, it has hit at least 280. Haven't touched the game in quite some time so I've gotta double check how fast I've actually got it up.

DE, I triple checked and it compiles to the rules in the first post, no cheat devices, no going backwards on track, no contact with any barriers whatsoever, all 4 wheels completely on the ground on both the runs.

Never mind the ZZ-II, I just majorly improved my own top speed, so this imageshack, do you have to be a member there, does it cost money, I'm pretty sure I just got my Bentley Speed 8 to 333.26mph. PS, what does the wheely look like, how is it done, I'm worried I might have accidentally done it but really badly.

Someone made 385.xx? I haven't; I think I blew my TV card up, and so I haven't been able to do any runs for 2 months or so.

You certainly won't be getting any complete setups from me, though I've given tips several times in the past.

OK hang on, I figured it out, with the new settings I had the car was bouncing a little bit, or in other words, popping tiny little wheelies, and I would be willing to bet big bucks so many people her have done it without realising, so my original speed of 507.xxkm/hr will have to stand for me but I now need to reachieve it and post photos, unless bouncing doesn't count as a wheelie, all it had was suspension and dampers soft as possible and downforce at min on Speed 8 which meant slightly more at rear.

565kph is approximately 352mph (and 507kph is roughly 316mph).

Funnily enough, the World Record Holder didn't share his settings - nor did he reach 385mph - but you can take all of our collective word for the speed of 380.32mph being entirely legitimate.

As I said to I-Runner in a PM, I believe 390+ is possible, and I have ideas on how to achieve the speed. With my capture card out of action though, I'm unable to provide adequate proof until I get new equipment, which probably won't happen until January. In the meantime, I think I-Runner will overtake me, but I'm always up for the challenge. 👍

so im new to trying to tune my car to go 300mph
im trying to use the Nissan 300 zx and have got 293 mph
it has all the mods, super soft race tires, and 817 hp
i saw that the best is 303 mph so i know it is possible
i turned driving aids off lowerd the spring rate and lowerd the ride height in the back and raiseed the ride height in the front. i also have max downforce in the rear. ive played with the transmission and have not been using 6th gear. i have been trying to top it out in 5th gear. is this better.and what do i do with bound and rebound in suspension as well as the LSD.is the original suspension and turbo better than stage four turbo and fully customizable suspension?

At least I am honest, but I just don't know how these speeds are possible, considering I've played every setting to different extents to no avail:tdown: But my 507.xxkm/hr speed is legit and I will post it some time.

Edit: OK here is my Bentely Speed 8 run of 315.85mph
Oh wait, it thinks the picture from the camera is a "bad file type" wtf. Any idea how to make it a "good file type"?
