no problem DE, and im glad to hear you will list cars used....this should help greatly...although at the moment i am currently doing 1000miles in the euro hall and cant really do anything else....2hours and 30 mins for one race....jesus christ...but anyway, ill post later...peace
 
Well guys..I've found a new way to set the cars up..now my Zonda may reach 307-308..but I have a new 300mph car. Here it is. R390 GT1 Road Car



and heres my Top 9( Dodge Ram=197..I'll break 200!!! :))

nice list, you show potential, if you can get that r89 up to 330, you should see if you can beat coutseys record with the minolta....just a thought... :dopey:
 
Good job 1989 on both counts, you currently hold the Gran Turismo Road-Car Land Speed Record.

Low, you're right, there's definite potential there ;)... But getting the R89 to 330 could be pretty hard as it has a puny 5-speed! Then again... I did 321 after two tries in the R92...

Work still in progress on the extremely massive members list on my site :rolleyes: could take a while to order them correctly!

I have a new 300mph car...it actually beat my R390..now..what was it..*goes to look*..the Esprit Sport 350..it went almost 301..the thing spun out on the first 2 tries...To hard to control. But theres a new addition.
oh..and I used the R92..not the R89..you must've just glanced at the pic.I'm now running the Minnolta..I'll come back with results soon.

well, i got bored and did some screwin around with the minolta and ended up with 334.20, which by my calculations, moves me up to spot number 4.... YAY :D but ima keep messin around for a little while...maybe ill have some more results with different cars
 
ok, i have decided to go after a select few records of a select few cars, sorry DE, but since you had the highest record with the r92cp it was you i had to go after....and i did manage to beat your time....here is a pic of my results.



 
yes but you probally wheelie tricked it.... and i have manage to make mine go 322.71 now...DE if you would like confirmation i will tak the pic...but right now i dont feel like screwing with pics
 
Just passing by at GT Planet, thought I might as well drop in to see if anyone has gone any faster here. Well, a bit of progress, well done.

Then I checked out DE's neatly compiled table, and noticed that he had me down as number 2 in race, and well down the list in road.

So I thought I had better sort out that little error, as follows.

Lotus 350 Sport, 310mph




And Minolta, 351 mph



And I'm up to 307.22 mph in the Chaparral 2D but didn't take a photo, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

sheesh.. you huys are in your own league indeed.. :scared: how on earth you can find such settings? it gotta be natural, that's all what I can say.. 💡

Leo, we don't find settings for this, we make them... So maybe it is natural :D

he dark elite......i'm looked at your member's list, and could find myself only one time. but i made two 300-speeds. sorry for getting on your nerves but i think this is a serious club.

Cheers viper. My apologies if I missed something, and you're quite right this is a serious club. Lots of people have put a lot of time into the speeds they acheived, so they should be listed on the members/speeds table. I'll have a look for your other 300+ speed. If I can't find it I'll ask you again :lol:!

Lowizle, I don't accept defeat much, as you're about to discover : I took out my R92CP literally minutes ago and beat you by a near-as-makes-no-difference amount, but I still did it! R92CP, 322.78mph.

What speed are you doing BEFORE you hit the nitrous at the beginning of the final straight? That's the secret to getting a good result. And thanks for the trust.

Ozmac, I've (slightly incredulously) trusted all of your other speeds, but I do not believe that possible. 350 in an 88C-V I won't ask about, but nigh-on the same in an R92CP I cannot believe. Er.. Video proof, please?
