So I get the same issue as you I guess.. No FFB in straights and , no curbs and also a weird vibration when I try to turn like its trying to give some resistance but not quite FFB.
Problem is that when I bought it on 2 of May it was fine and strong as a rock! Couldnt even handle FFB Torque at 10 and switched it to 6. As for now at 10 I can turn the wheel single-handedly.
Not quite sure if all these happened after the update because I believe that on 2nd of May the game was already at 1.13 .
To be honest I also think that the effect is bad because it is happening since I hooked my wheel to a next level racing stand lite.

Anyways I have the wheel updated but has no difference.

Turned on the Ps5 again while I have switched the wheel to PS3 mod (PC , Green light) but it doesnt recognize it.
Green light is On but nothing happens with the button. I pressed PS button too still nothing.

Are you guys sure that you can play on Ps5 while the switch is to PS3 (-PC) mode ?

Not sure about the PS5 but I play in PS3/PC mode on my PS4 and it feels right. The buttons on T300 work in game but doesn't work fully for playstation menus and to turn on/off console etc.

If your T300 connected directly to your PS4/PS5? I was using an old USB extension cable that was causing some issues for my T500.

Will try that out, I have an extender yes.

EDIT: Unfortunately no.. Connected the wheel directly to ps5 , green light goes on and also it does the initial calibration (wheel turning) but it wont let me control the PS or the game with it

Wish they would add vibrations when you rev the engine like forza horizon 5 has and fh4 previously, Gt7 is lame in the ffb department. T300rs user

That green light I means it's in ps3/pc mode (that's how you update firmware) you need to switch it to ps4/5 mode(switch next to the light) then reconnect wheel then the light should be red

Mine doesn't even work in PS3/PC mode on PS5 at all.

Yes, from what I've seen from other PS5 users also me , I think we can confirm that.

The T300 will not operate with PS5 in PS3/PC mode .
This is a bad news, I will not switch to PS5 if FFB in PS4/PS5 mode stays like that.

I can't explain why in ps3/pc mode the FFB is right and not in the mode the wheel is supposed to run...

It's not comparable on ps4, in pc mode, it calibrates two times, one for xmb and one when the game launches.
The trick works in GT SPORT too and I wasn't entirely satisfied of FFB before switching to pc mode in it either. Now it smooth as butter.

But anyway the overall FFB in these two games is incomplete, only two settings is not sufficient.

Kerbs the wheel should vibrate but it doesn't. Some FFB Effects are non existent in the game. I don't feel most bumps but I feel the odd bump here and there , I feel the wheels hitting hard bumps and mounting kerbs though.

We need more FFB controls in the game though. Not just FFB Torque and FFB Effects. We need FFB Dampening and FFB Center Spring. It would be nice if Logitech , Fanatec and Thrustmaster worked with Sony to add their control panel settings from PC on to consoles too. More granular wheel settings is whats needed.

The FBB seems fine for me, for those able to use PC mode (aka using PC firmware settings) can you confirm that your wheelbase is the 'older' version of the t300 that shows PS4 - PS3 (PC) on the switch?
My relatively new wheel shows PS5 - PS4 (PC) on the switch, but unlike some - my Firmware settings from PC do not work in the PS4(PC) mode. PS4 mode seems to work exactly the same as Ps5 mode, I am playing gt7 on Ps5 just to note.

Yes, Mine seems to be the older type with PS3 on the switch (even though I bought the wheel brand new about 6 months ago). Mine works 'ok' in PS4 mode but it definitely feels much better when left on PC/PS3 mode.

Hardware is same between two versions of the wheel.

The pc mode trick is only working on ps4 not ps5.

I've been playing PC2 8 hours straight today, good ffb, no problems. After that I wanted to check new update for GT7... Again, 10 minutes of playing On settings 6/1 and the FFB fades. Somehow this game manages to beaten my t300. It's like theres too much information for this old wheel and it cant handle it properly.

And Yes ffb is still bad. It was bad and still is :/

The FFB of PC2, Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa C. is miles ahead of GT7.

Yes the last update have change for the worst the FFB on some hight end wheels, but on the T300RS things have improved over the 1.13, far from perfect, but better, there is still room for improvements

I think the only question we need to ask ourselves now is...
Can it run Crysis?;)
Dude, I don't know if you noticed that but in pc mode the wheel is recognised as a T500 (in controller scheme).

IMO T500 owners should enjoy their wheel a lot because their FFB in game is madness :)

Hmm, I've never noticed that, I customised my layout first thing, and pretty sure its the T300 profile. I'll check when I get back on though, cheers.

Hi everyone, I have the same problem as you on gt7. The wheel is kinda crazy. I switch between gt sport and gt7 and the wheel is much more responsive and feel more natural than in gt7. I don’t really know why ? I got my wheel t300 rs on ps5 yesterday.

Now that update 1.31 dropped, the wheel feels unneccesarily heavy when steering. I put the gain on 3 (sensitivity 5), so very low, but even then it feels too heavy. On 2 it's on the light side, and the details are too subtle.

I checked the drivers and firmware, but it's up to date (firmware 34). Is it just me?
