Hi.

Nobody is intrigued with the apparition of this model in the wheel configuration menu in GT5?.

I see a "GT" logo in the center of it in the gift, and this could say it could be an official new wheel...

What do you think?.

To be honest, I have never heard of this wheel. It surprised me to see a completely unknown wheel in the set, but not so that I would google it immediately. Haven't so far.

I would've expected the Ferrari Wheel, since it's also an officially licensed PS3 wheel.

There is no Google information.

GT5 users can see that if all the wheel´s gift has the same scale from real wheels in the setup screen, this T500 RS should has a bigger rim diameter.

This wheel appeared after the second update,
I saw it in a game installation with only the first update (in the second position in the setup screen, after de DFGT).

Really is strange that there is no info in anywhere (gran-turismo.com, the Thrustmaster web site,... ).

I still have it in options menu... it looks a little like the 458 italia wheel, but i don't think it will be officially licensed.
Probably it will come soon :D

It is interesting to see. I have found nothing online on the wheel, which i don't understand. What I understand less is why there is a patch for a wheel that is not out yet, while those of us who use a G25 or G27 get nothing? What's up with that?

Whatever, the more I read forums and the more i read about the game I am getting more frustrated with the whole processes of patches and updates. Dude seriously, if you were planning this all along just give it right away. You have years to make this game and you delayed it a few times to be perfect. Release it and then have to come out with multiple patches to make it better? When most of this stuff had been promised with the game. Oh well, I do love the game it is great, except for trying to find used cars to finish races, I think that is lame.

Its all about PD/Sony getting a cut in proceeds from sale of wheels. Seem Logitech maybe did not want to share with G25 & G27. So they went with Thurstmaster. I’m hoping it will have a H-shifter with handbrake and a heavy duty pedal set. Plus all the buttons, dials & switches we can use to tweak the car on the fly.

Here is the English site for the wheel.

Is there a direct link to the official webpage of the wheel? The wheel is not listed under PS3 or multiplatform. All I can see about the new wheel is the repeating video at the top (and nothing in the vid can be clicked). very odd...unless my browser is blocking some info or links?
:dunce:

Nah.... it's like that for all of us. It's to build suspense. (People with a wheel) "My wheel is showing abit of wear.... huh? I've never heard of the T500 RS, lemme check it out"
(Without a wheel) "Playing with a DS3 is fun, however, a wheel is a greater experience. The T500 RS has the GT symbol in it, so it must work..... what? not out yet? Let me just wait for more info."

I might actually consider this seeing as my G25 just broke.

provided it has a H-shifter and clutch

Not much info since it is not officially out yet.

Very well! thanks for the info.

I have a feeling this wheel will be the same as the Thrust Ferrari wheels.
I have played my friends Thrustmaster Ferrari wheels and overall it did not feel very good (imho, ymmv). that is why I bought a Logitech wheel.

I decided to save up and buy that Fanatec GT3RS and club pedals!
:scared:

Yeah, I doubt it would be "Competitor to Fanatec/Logitech wheels" good but DFGT good.

I've got a Fanatec Carrera Wheel (PWC) and love it!!........ I love it so much that I am ready to spend for the new GT2 Wheel. (Additional things will be Clubsport Shifter, Handbrake and pedals.
