Link?At the moment I can pick up both the T500 and the T300 for $399.
My question is:
Is the iffy compatibility on PS4 worth the three pedals? I'm getting it for my brother who would like to eventually use a shifter. My guess is there is no game that will not include the T500. I know this is a big (dumb) assumption, but I'd like to hear thoughts anyway.
I have not tried the 300, but would go for the 500 for sure.At the moment I can pick up both the T500 and the T300 for $399.

I own both. I put my comparative thoughts in this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/ps4-t300-gte-or-t500rs.319404/At the moment I can pick up both the T500 and the T300 for $399.

At identical price the T500 is the better buy in terms of value for money. But the T300 offers the more rounded FFB experience, so if you are not hugely budget constrained then the T300 with separate pedals is probably nicer. Whether it is as robust is hard to tell right now, too new.
Two extra points to add on to of that:
- there are a few issues popping up with the 2-pedal sets in the current batch of T300 wheels, whereas at this stage T500 looks to be very solid with extremely low chance of something not working on arrival
- the TH8A shifter can plug straight into the T300, whereas the T500 doesn't have a socket for it: you have to plug the TH8A into the PC/console via it's alternate USB directly. Could be annoying depending on the number of available USB ports (NB: don't confuse with the TH8RS which only has USB so wouldn't make a difference between the two wheels)
Refering back to the OP, I found a company that makes a bit of kit to be able to use the G27 pedals on Thrustmaster wheels (T300/T500 among others), so unless you have to sell your G27 to fund the Thrustmaster product, I would be tempted by the T300 and the G27 pedals (mainly because I have made mods to my G27 pedals and love the quality of them).
Can't recall the name of the company but it was easy to find on Google with a simple 'G27 pedals on Thrustmaster' search.
Read the first posts in the T300 and T3PA threads, it will answer all of your questions.Hello Racers and Gentlemen, I just wanted to ask if the T500RS pedals are compatible with the new T300RS wheel and if they have the same sockets (Compatible-wire-endings) also the same question for the TH8RS shifter for T300RS ... and what is the difference between the T500RS pedals and the new T3PA-Pro ?!! and is it worth it to buy the T300RS wheel for PS4 or is there something which is better? I only seek for being ready to any Gran-Turismo distribution on PS4 ... do you think maybe GT will come up with an update for the T500RS to be compatible later-on on PS4? .... Thanks in advance.
