In the end the black friday sale twisted my arm and I went Fanatec. All in $900 CDN to my door for the 8nm base and the QR2 both base and wheel side. Ill add the P1 V2 wheel and load cell pedals used for another $300 foe $1200 CDN total. That's about the price of a used Logitech G Pro (that I could not find) or a new T598 with upgraded wheel and pedals.

T598 finally starting to look like a good option?

Still doesn't sound like it's to great with GT7 for me, He says you always feel connected to the road with the belt drive wheel... Something very important for myself. He does prefer the t598 overall i just wonder why you dont feel connected with the T598. Is it a direct drive wheel thing?

I can't take this youtuber seriously. I'd prefer to hear from someone like me who might of moved from a T300, I'm still happy with mine so no need to upgrade unless I'm going to see a significant better experience, same reason I didn't get a PS5 pro.

Anyone gone from T300rs to T598? I'm on the shelf about buying.
I upgraded from the TX. I’ve been into sim racing since 2005 and have had a lot of wheels over the yrs. I am not willing to sink thousands into my rig just yet. When I retire I have plans but for now I have a simple rig I built myself and works great. Also a big fan of plug and play since I usually don’t have all day to fiddle with things and just wanna sit and race.
The T598 has been an outstanding upgrade for me and at the right price as well. That’s my input. 😉

Exactly what I was after, I think I'll bite the bullet and write my letter to santa 🎅 may even get a better wheel to go with it.
