I hope the Load Cell comes with the extended foot plate then, unless that is another addon too 🤔load cell won't be included in the package, it's an addon people will have to buy. So no need to wait

Quite sure that this will be an addon too. The fact that the pedals is adverstised as "modular" makes me think that every "modules" will be separate. unless you decide to buy upfront the "pro" version of the raceline which will bundle all the "modules". But at release it will be a separate addon.I hope the Load Cell comes with the extended foot plate then, unless that is another addon too 🤔
Do you have a specific reason for choosing a Thrustmaster wheel base if you’re not bothered about console compatibility? Within the T818 price range, there’s better options like the Moza R9, Simagic Alpha Mini and Asetek La Prima.I don't care about console compatibility, but is it worth taking the T818 Ferrari edition, or the T598 for pure force feedback pleasure? Coming from a T300
Because losing all the rims I have and buying all the other from another ecosystem will make my wallet cryDo you have a specific reason for choosing a Thrustmaster wheel base if you’re not bothered about console compatibility? They said end of January (for the new availability on the TM Official Shop).I've been waiting to get one but everywhere is out of stock in the UK.
I went to Currys last night to get the wife a Chromebook and asked them if they knew when new stock was coming in for this but they still have no information on it 😭
Was planning on getting this, but glad I went with Fanatec in the end…Been reading loads of comments on Youtube from buyers who are massively disappointed in it. Shame i was more or less sold on it.
Very similar story, I just ended up going the Moza route. Was planning on getting this, but glad I went with Fanatec in the end…
Damn, this is disappointing.Been reading loads of comments on Youtube from buyers who are massively disappointed in it. Shame i was more or less sold on it.
Yeah until games are natively supported for me i will still hold out a bit of hope, Apparently AC Evo is showing the wheel as a T500 RS which is a old PS3 wheel so i would imagine the FFB is pretty bad considering its a direct drive wheel showing up as a really old belt drive. Not sure how long it take devs to natively support a new wheel but you would of thought GT7/Evo would be supporting it by now.Damn, this is disappointing.
I was gonna wait a few months after the release to see how folks were getting on before making a decision myself.
This doesn't sound too encouraging. 😕
I'm confident it's the same FFB signal no matter what wheel base is attached - the idea that developers create different FFB implementations for each type of wheel base sounds very unlikely to me, hence all the FFB configuration options available. "Native support" simply means that buttons and pedals inputs work out-of-the-box.Apparently AC Evo is showing the wheel as a T500 RS which is a old PS3 wheel so i would imagine the FFB is pretty bad considering its a direct drive wheel showing up as a really old belt drive.
I just don't know where I stand on this and I only can this because at 1 Point I had a PXN V12 Lite DD Wheel as we know Unlicensed Wheel for PS and Xbox. I also have a T300 for the PS5. Now with that said GT7 saw the PXN as a Logitech G29 or whatever and I can tell you that 100% the T300 Force Feedback Felt better in everyway on GT7. Now there is absolutely No Reason why a Wheel that I have had since my PS4 and is Belt Driven should have a Stronger FFB than a DD Wheel. So it only stands to Reason that they would have Different FFB Profiles because if not and all you do is Code in an Option to select a New Wheel I believe they would have already had that Accomplished? Anyone have any other thoughts on this???I'm confident it's the same FFB signal no matter what wheel base is attached - the idea that developers create different FFB implementations for each type of wheel base sounds very unlikely to me, hence all the FFB configuration options available. Yeah im pretty sure i read Thrustmaster were heavily in touch with PD/Kunos etc while the wheel was getting produced. Im guessing if it worked great out the box with games they would have no need to do that.I just don't know where I stand on this and I only can this because at 1 Point I had a PXN V12 Lite DD Wheel as we know Unlicensed Wheel for PS and Xbox.
