I have not seen this discussed anywhere else and thought I would share my experiences with my Thrustmaster TS300RS pedals not calibrating on the PS5. Feel free to delete if it is not useful.

I have not used my wheel on the PS5 before and have never updated it since I got it a few years ago. I plugged in this morning looking forward to playing GT7, the wheel calibrated on start up, and again later when the game was starting. When I got to the Music Rally I started to play and the brake and accelerator pedals were definitely not working properly. The brake indicator would not go above 30-40%. I quit the Rally and went to the world map and started the campaign/walkthrough with the same issue. I remembered from PS4 that if I pressed the brake pedal in on the loading screen it would normally solve the problem. I tried and it did not work. Lots of mentioned quick fixes I found on a Google search did not work.

I went through the Thrustmaster help and manuals and found a firmware update for the wheel which I installed through my laptop. The T300 now has firmware that is fully compatible with PS5. It took what seemed like an age to get to this stage but plugging the wheel into the PS5 and away I went! The pedals are now working perfectly and the game is running great.

TL;DR update the firmware on your hardware. Hopefully this will help someone...

Yea I had to update my firmware from version 30 to current 34… the guys in the ACC section helped me… you have to have it in PS5 mode (red led light) vs PS4 mode (orange light)
