11th April @ Alsace - Village (right way round)For your enjoyment, I've added the Full custom gearbox. 174mph / 280kph I think it is. Tyres Sport hard.
Nissan R32 GT-R Vspec II '94
Plus the first of two pre knockout rounds.
All other settings default.
Seems to put the gear changing in a better place and cuts out that long delay between changes.
If we have members there that are in the pairings of the first pre ko round and they would like to run their head to head race, members agreement, of course, would be a good time to get things underway
If you all agree I was considering 4 laps for the first round. 5 laps for the second round, adding one lap to each of the rounds so as not to make them to long. Whatever you guys want.
Not a lot to say about this combo, just a few short sprint races, one or two head to head races. A main race with tyre change if you wish, a short look at the next combo on the menu for those that don't get time outside our TFN.
Hope that enough, all this typing plays havoc with my play time.
You aren't the only one. I thort the same with the Alfa. So practiced with the alfa the day before with only time I had then. Find out it's a r32 on a track i keep away from.Hmm. So I took the trouble to run some laps. I also posted that I would attend tonight. I do have limited time on GT due to other commitments. Not sure what happened but I couldnt find the room but did find out it was on a rally track in a Renault. This must have been decided at the last minute as I posted in the thread an hour before I came on and there was no mention of this, only about running in the Alfa. Sorry if this sounds a bit rude chaps but my time on GT is limited and I would rather run what is advertised.
Due to this I would like to be removed from the ROC.
Cheers
Ade.
Take mine down as you please. I was just asking honest questions as i did ask if the first roc race was a Alfa and i was told yes. So you can see why i felt a bit baffled by using a different car hence why asked in lobby. Maybe if it's not taking serious keep the cars as a surprise for both drivers. Then it would not of been practiced in before hand.Phillip, very sorry if you feel the following is inappropriate, I will take it down if so but I have to chime in on this.
Thursday night "FUN". The name says it all !!! This is not a group for "series races" and points battles. If you take the time to read and digest the thread you should pick up on this.
This is a "check your attitude at the door" group of gentleman racers who attend for 1 reason, to have fun!
Phillip spends a great deal of time coming up with out of the mainstream combos that are always quite enjoyable and provide unique challenges and loads of fun. You never now what's coming next so practicing all week is futile particularly since there all no tune for the most part. Again the priority is to have FUN !!!
Hope people looking to join read this. Might save them some time and aggravation.

I don't take it serious either as most races if you watch me i will give places up as i prefer close racing over winning.
I honestly don't feel welcome when joining in. Every time i join. There mite be one hello and zero when the lobby closes so you can see why i get a bit rattled.
Anyways yesterday had been a very long day for me. Sorry if it's caused any trouble Phillip.
I do have a headset just not sure if I've ever been asked before plus I normally run surround sound for the emerse feeling plus my inducer tells me when there's a car along side me to make room rather than slamming the door shut. But I'll give it a shot.Fwiw, it was all pretty clear to me.
As Stig said, close fun racing is the ideal.
Also, apologies to you Stig. You're always welcome to us. You're fast, fair and love a good dust up.
I think a headset would show you how much we appreciate your presence if you can get ahold of one.
I didn't practice in the R32 beforehand. I got dropped in the deep end by Herr Larry, did a race and then went H2H with Wookie. I didn't practice in the Alfa for the qually either.
I'm all for a relaxed and fun ROC.
Winning is great, rubbing is great, messing up is part and parcel of it and I admit I do it more than most.
The format suits me and I love being a part of it.
Thanks for putting up with me guys!
Absolutely amazing shot. Thank you for the fun run too.
I see Andy has perfected my pit entrance move...Oh yes and a dummy run @ Colorado in the Megane, watch the Video below good entertainment.
I see Andy has perfected my pit entrance move...
“Elegantly”Only the top drivers can pull it off so elegantly!
I should be there around 8:30 gmt if all goes well.
Good idea. However, I think I know the outcome lol.Joe if Javier comes this week and we have any issues with connecting to one another, may pay for you both to make a private room and run your two pre ko rounds.
Come to think of it, that would be the answer for any pairings if we have trouble again like last week.
We could save the replay, one or both. Then share it on PSN and we can all watch it anytime. 👍
