@Jw_wk1010 i don’t think you screwed up last week. Part of the track knowledge or lack there of is my own fault. I just think running a single track for the night might just be more helpful to those of us less seasoned. To be clear, the fact you guys are willing to take your gaming time to slow down and help us is BEYOND appreciated and i have been surprised how patient and welcoming all the ARL members have been. I really benefited from the way you guys tried to explain techniques and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere throughout the night. I also think running a few live races is a must during school so we get more comfortable racing along side other cars in a competitive setting.

I'm very glad to hear you are enjoying your time with us. This definitely is an awesome group of people hopefully you will be around for a while because I promise you can always expect the guys to come up with something wild to do.

@BGCaligula here's an idea, run some laps at weather tech and share it on your profile and I will watch it on my account. Or post it here. Observing is probably the best way I learn also? Just an idea? Or whatever track is coming up next on the ARL schedule?
Yup. I think there are already great sources for detailed lap guides from streamers like SuperGT, David Perel and TheKie25. I can certainly do this thought, maybe ahead of the Gr3 races and upload to my YT channel.

Hell I would probably watch dude has been kicking my a$$

I like @Helmethead suggestion of focusing on one track. I have not spent much time at BMB Infield II and last school @Jw_wk1010 pointed out a couple of things at this track that were game changers, 1st and last turns. I also had the good fortune to do a bit of a track walk with JW at Spa that was very helpful. My focus right now is this trail braking thing that I've just 'discovered', and that can be worked on at any track. When I got my racing licence in 1981 I don't think trail braking had been invented yet, at least none of my instructors at that school used it.

I, too have felt welcomed by the people here. Thanks for that.

Do you have links for specific track guides. I've seen some stuff from the people you mentioned and it's good. Is it possible to find something like "Blue Moon Bay Infield II track guide"?

Specific to that course? No, have not come across one. They have definitely run it at some point in their streams, but that'll be difficult to point out. I've honestly never even run it in the reverse layout, so I did about 15 laps tonight to get acquainted, but I have no idea what a good time for the course is. I'll upload the best lap replay shortly, so it'll be in my profile in game.

Edit: Replay shared. Tags: arl, arlgr4, bgc

Not to forget @Mistah_MCA ´s great guides on YT.
Yes. His guides are great as well. Very helpful. So were Z28's guides when he did them.

Fluke Find: Tidgney Racing School Episode 02 on acceleration contains a clip of his hot lap at BMB Infield A II. The clip is at 24:58.

We will be using bmb II

Lobbies will open at 9est we will run laps and work with drivers until around 930est.

At that time we will join up in a single lobby and run some races so you guys can practice what you have learned in a much calmer environment. If you make a mistake do not worry these are not points races they are for learning thank you all see you this evening.
