In 2019, Sony (and the other console makers) began adding a drop rate/odds disclosure mandate for loot boxes, mainly for those the player can spend currency (in-game or real) on it. Presently, GT7 does not have any of that (moreso because there's no way to purchase them - they can only be obtained once a day, except if you're still doing menu books) - but should the game be required to disclose the odds (aka drop rates) of (a) what star rating of tickets you get from Daily Workouts and (b) what you can get from these tickets?

(No "rEmOvE tHe sYsTeM" posts please.)

I've used 10-15 tickets by now and every time I got the worst reward. It's either what Nuschel said, or scummy practice, or bugged.

It’s been proven many times that it is not chance. You can open the same ticket as many times as you want and you will still get the same prize. Check out YouTube.

The only thing that was proven is that they are rolled at some point before you open them.

From what I remember the guy I saw was opening the ticket. Then turning PS4 off and then opening the same ticket. I may be wrong, memory isn’t what it used to be.

@Lomic I don’t think that will be the case with PD. What I believe you are talking about was COD loot boxes and FIFA cards. They had to tell the odds because of gambling regulations in some countries. As we don’t pay actual cash, I can’t see it happening. I would like it to though.

His point was that the only "proof" so far is that the animation of the "roulette" spin is just for show. .....that the prize is already predetermined at some point prior to that. There isn't any proof of the system lacking an element of randomness and is simply a preestablished list or pattern of prizes that are selected. ....at least none that I have seen.

My guess is that if it is indeed random, they likely made the selection occur sometime before the spin to avoid people from trying to cheat the system. .....which probably led to the discovery of this in the first place.

As for the original post, I fail to see how one has anything to do with the other given the Roulette is purely a gift item and nothing to do with MTXs.

Which means the process of selecting the predetermined prizes occurs in the background, in advance. Prize cars in PS1/PS2 era are also like that, determined by crossing the finish line (not by pressing a button in GT3's wheel, contrary to old hearsays) although you could re-roll if you know how.

You could re-roll GT6's birthday cars by restarting the game if you haven't chosen the car's color or answered the "get into car?" prompt.
