Instead of "Beating the Beat", let's time it. Best time with any Beat, including Mugen Beat, max tuning (including race mod), any setting, any course. Interested?

Ah, looks like I'll have to get a car with some small horsepower. I remember, it was funny, when I first did that race, it was quite difficult as I'd become accustomed to all out, high horsepower racecars and finding a car with such a small amount of power was difficult, as was driving it.

I can never remember where I have won a car before.

honda beat sure is hard to drive for such small car.

Yes it is. It's a tricky one for sure...kinda looks like it will be sporty & easy to drive at first, but wait till that mid-engine starts swinging out on you. :D

Hey g41, looks like we got some people interested...how about you name a track?

(drum roll)

And the track is...Apricot Hill!

Cool. Give me a day...I'll definitely break out my Beat for some action! Right now I'm in the middle of GT3 World Champion Pros! 10 laps / 10 races--I'm a bit preoccupied to say the least.

I miss GT3. My PS2 broke down, so I can't play it no more. Good price too!$8.00 and it works great! It was the first GT game I played, but I knew almost nothing before. I knew it was a cool game, but I didn't think it was this cool! After that, I tried to get the other GT games. I managed GT and GT2 real cheap. Then, I was in the middle of GTA: San Andreas (this was about a year ago), when my little sister kicks over the PlayStation because she was mad about something, and now it will only play CD stuff. No DVD anymore.

Okay, well you asked for it, and looks like I'm the first to try it: I just bought & modded a '92 Honda Beat Version F. Not sure if you wanted us to use the full race-kit or not, but I went ahead and bought it anyways.

I only did 3 laps, mind you. BEST TIME: 1:40.869

Springs: 4.5 / 5.1 kg/mm
Ride: 101 mm / 92 mm
B. Dampers: 4/1
R. Dampers: 2/1
Camber: 2.2°/0.7°
Toe: none
Stabilizer: 3/2

Braxe: 10/4

Downforce: 0.30/0.38

Tires: Medium / Soft

I forget what tranny settings were. I didn't adjust the auto setting at all, instead I lowered the final drive and 4th & 5th gear till my Beat could drive without maxxing revs.

Sorry, haven't been back in a week.

First of all any mod Beats, second not doing too well, 1.45.518 (YIKES!)
I'm not too well at turning, or tuning for that matter. Not much time with Megaman in the way.

Hey, it don't matter. At least you're here doing a virtual race with us! We can use all the folks here we can get! ::dopey:
