cheers stewy,đź‘Ť i`m at 2:08.430 taking a bit of time to adjust to the speed and braking but i`m getting there, with the le mans cars i could to the up hill chicane full wack but not with this beast, alot subtle decellerating

"Just out of curiosity at anyone that's running this with a 2J, what are the specs of your car? By this, I mean: HP @ 650 PP. Turbo??? Weight (Ballast) Power limiter???

No, my car is not hacked and no, I am not going to hack it for this event. Just simply wanting the information so that I can compare it to my car. Thanks."

trying out diff ones>> high turbo 732bhp, 931 kg
w/o turbo 679 bhp, 860kg, and 681bhp, 866kg
 
This was a good one. Used the BMW McLaren GTR with Praiano tune and worked itt down to 2:14.5 . Good enough for me, Praiano really calms this car down, very stable, really good tune.

Ballast: 44 (for) Power limit: 0 -no turbo. BHP: 684 -weighin' in at: 865kg

No 2J in my garage, used the GT-ONE for three quick runs little tuning and got a 2:08. 2:05-2:06 is possible for me I think. Love Spa...
 
Another round, this time using Pmjg's 2J.

That made a difference, now on 2:06.796....pos #318.

Edit...2:06.541....pos# 261.

Edit..On the leader-board. 2:06.031....pos# 192.

Edit..2:05.921...pos# 174. Wow! That's encroaching on Pmjg's territory.

I would add that staying in 3rd going up the 1st hill instead of changing down really helped. Of course it's a bit tricky to do at speed and I only get it right once every 4 or 5 tries.

Huh usually i think im not good at SPA but the first clean lap i did put me 92nd 2:05.1 and i didnt tune the car since last i used it.

I'd be inclined to say you were pretty fair at Spa, in fact far better than most, and that your tune is pretty competitive too.

Pmjg's tune is a little different than Stewy's.

Re Cargo's questions; 704hp (although mine is at 708hp) 96.7%.

weight 896kg .. 75kg ballast at 50. And he is using Mid range turbo.

And that's it for me for a while, work to do.

Thanks mate. No changes although I am currently using -0.03 front toe but I can't say yet whether it is helping or not.
 
Dropped to a 2:04.80
Maybe could find a 2:04.5 ive got -04 toe on the front &-12 on the rear i think everywhere else the setups mostly stock except 3.0 front camber & -5 front ride height .
Maybe equaling the ballast and power will be the next thing i try.

You take the uphill chicane at full wack?? i could do that with other cars but the 2J seems too fast, it must be position the angle of approach
