for April 10, 2016

Good run today guys. It was nice to have @roamer2629 and @GTP_Patrick1 from the WRS join in.

We had some really close finishes @Nicktune. Of the 4 combos you ran, we finished within a tenth of each other 3 times. Wow.

Unfortunately I will not be racing this weekend (April 17).

The car list has been updated (Post #2) and the new registration form is up (bottom of Post #1).

Edit: The option to use either the Toyota Castrol TOM'S SUPRA '00 or the Toyota DENSO SARD SUPRA GT '00 for car #3 has changed. Now, only the Toyota DENSO SARD SUPRA GT '00 is allowed.

Note that for car #3 you can use either the Toyota Castrol TOM'S SUPRA '00 or the Toyota DENSO SARD SUPRA GT '00. As far as I can tell the two cars are the same except for their paint/sponsorship. If you think that's wrong let me know.

I know in GT5 all the NSXs were different even with the same year models. Chances are these supras have slightly different handling characteristics.

Ok, thanks. To be safe we'll just go with the Toyota DENSO SARD SUPRA GT '00. I've updated my last post and post #2 to reflect the change.

And cool, glad you plan to be there Sunday! I'll remind Vegas to remind you.

for April 17, 2016

@GTP_Patrick1 wins the tie-breaker for 9th over @roamer2629 by having a faster Total Time.

Congrats on the hard fought victory @Nicktune! 5 different winners today attests to how tight the competition was at the top.

A great run today guys. It's a lot more fun with a large field. We were done in 1 hour and 45 mins, which is our fastest yet. It helps when everyone has all the cars and we don't have any disconnects.

It was nice to have first-timers @Rdndo and @Gravitron join us.

I thought the first combo was the best. The others didn't really do it for me. I'm looking forward to eventually driving the Subaru Viziv and the Lancer Evolution X Rally Car that are still on the car list.

I'll post the new car list and registration table later tonight.

I practiced the wet racing line with the M3 combo, but I really can't make it work (2sec off from the TTC) . I really would like to see a proper wet racing line...

Cool video! That was really a great lap. And yeah, I can't figure out the wet racing line stuff that some guys have talked about either. I always just drive the normal racing line. At some point I ought to test out different lines on a short rain track like Autumn Ring Mini or something.

Impressive showing @RS__96__oO. 👍 Nic-KL made it close with help from all those fast first lap bonus points.

I thought Round 5 was really fun. That's my favorite rain combo so far.
