Saturday morning in the land down under. It's an improvement but a sad one as the delta were showing me I was 0.8 ahead of a previous 33.5 lap. Which would give me a 32.7 something. And of course the moment my mind got this math done I proceed to screw last turn.

The game says I have a possible low 32(!!!!)

Question for the Clio TT, seems that everyone is saying it is a pretty easy one to gold, but how come so mamy people are really high up on the leaderboard? If loads of peiple are golding it with really good times then surely others should be dropping down the board 🤷🏻‍♂️ everyone seems to be 1-1000 on this one.

With fabulous inconsistency, my best lap is 0.3s worse than my optimal in every sector (except the first). 2:33.7 registered, 2:32.7 optimal, 0.3% inside gold :|

Well, still chasing that 20.5..but running multiple laps close to it has boosted my confidence that it is indeed possible for me to reach it. Happy to shave off another almost 0.250 of a second this morning. What a rush! Really enjoying this TT... Regarding of however many I times I spin off with a wheel in the dirt yelling profanities.

And revisited Mrs. Clio down under for a bit of evening fun.

i'm sitting exactly 0.009 seconds under the gold time and i really feel like i hit my limit here , i'd happily settle with silver on this one (i easily golded the other 4 so i wont miss that 1 million lol)

Yeah, I only got Silver on one once and it was a Online Time Trial on Daytona.

Because Smurf and @Ed_Night have improved their PB, my Cliow wanted to respond firmly

After some laps, we shaved +/-0.250 on our previous PB, thanks to better 2nd and 3rd sectors. I'm still struggle on the last one, mainly because I'm really too conservative (scare to invalidate a good lap).

S1: 24.271 - clearly too slow, 3 tenths are available here
S2: 54.061 - not bad, thanks to a better exit at the Cutting (T4)
S3: 39.439 - correct, but some tenths are also available here
S4: 36.006 - clearly my weakest point, 0.5 are on the table

Good news for my good girl, there are always SOME tenths to graze in the surrounding pastures for her:

The ease of golding is related to the time, not the rank. You need to be within 3% of the top time, regardless of how many people do it.

I get that, but what I mean is that the gold times that people are posting on this thread all seem to be in and around the top 1000 as if GTP has taken over all the top times on this TT.

Unless a lot of aliens haven't joined in yet.

Managed to grab a tenth to get under 2:32.
