Was the Lambo meant to be easy 🤷🏻‍♂️

First lap and straight into gold

I then set about trying to make the 1:51.xxx club to the point of millimetres from invalidating the lap but still just outside at 1:52.006, that will do for a safe gold on this one, although I did enjoy it.

I've shared both replays if anyone wants a bearly gold ghost or a nearly 1:51.xxx ghost 😅

I came up with a strategy to get gold at Deep Forest.
Since the Lancer is a front engine car, I took my dog with me, and put him in the back seat for ballast weight. 👍
Lol, that's so cool. Great strategy. Well I'm already in silver territory and it took only 6 laps. Deep Forest isn't that long of a track than Suzuka is. The only parts I don't like is the downhill part before the first tunnel. And then the sharp left turn after the last tunnel you come out of. That is a lap-killer right there. I'll figure it out.

Hi guys (and Greek)

First ride at Deep Forest on the new TT with the Lancer Evo Gr. 4.
First TT with my bday gift (Fanatec + GT omega) --> @half_sourly could you update my "profile" in your spreadsheets, please?

The car is pretty easy to drive on wheel but I'm still struggle to upshift/downshift the gears (should be better tomorrow).
I'm very happy with this surprising score (4 tenths from the gold mine) with only few laps on a custom race for training.
I really wasn't expecting such result.

Happy lapping everyone ;)

Thursday Nokia-time 😁😜

Well.... I was expecting more from it, it's like TO straight forward....and its almost impossible to get oversteer .....
Glued to the tarmac 🤣

Well.... first meters on remote were not that bad, banker lap should hold 🤣

Tomorrow morning the first session , we will see where it ends 🙈

Helloooooo nurse!

Another week, another gold in the very first day. I'm taking the advantage I can over the easy TTs lately. 😂

The car is easy to drive but somehow I have this feeling that it is meant to be driven hard. High revs, throwing it around corners, pushing as hard as it can in the corner exits.... I might come back for more in this TT. Deep Forest is super nice to drive.

Also, burning the midgnight oil in the single and only session I had with the Honda Gr2 at Suzuka actually paid off. My gold held up.

Did two stints at Deep Forest today using the wheel and got into gold pretty easily after the first five laps. Then switched to another liveried Lancer and improved a few tenths. Really nice combo to practice my trail breaking without having to worry at all during corner exits about spinning when putting any power down.

Also pretty happy about getting to take two of my favourite liveries out. Always had a soft spot for time attack and 90's tuners from Japan and both of these are replicas of two machines built by legendary Susumu Koyama from none other than JUN Auto.

Edit: ok I get it, this is not the Race Photos thread. Thank you for editing in the spoiler tags :)

After chugging my first few laps at the forest on this new TT, this Evo came out top trumps! Pretty happy to get my gold again after a long while!

Plenty of space to improve as I do like this course and this car will take time to perfect. Thank you @Tidgney your guide helped my acheive this good time!!!

I'll say this, it is harder to do transitions on corners with a DUALSENSE!

Difficult. Managed a 1’48.415 which felt pretty solid but I’m further behind than usual. I did have one pretty nice lap where I reached the split just before 130R at 1’28.457 (-0,200 on my PB) but completely screwed that one going into the Casio Triangle way too late on the brakes, held it inside and kept it valid but had obviously lost way too much time and guided it home to .537. That truly sucked but I couldn’t muster any more energy or passion to continue. Oh well, at least it’s back to regular schedule and not fifty TT’s at the same time (not a fan) and at least I was in one of the best looking Hondas out there.

Gr.4. What I was fearing for. Man, this is gonna SUCK. We’ve had some proper stinkers recently. Repeats and now a freaking Gr.4 snail. Yawn.
Masters of Time Trials, does any of you use some lap analysis software to check lap into details and maybe compare to some other lap? and in that case which one? has ony of you tried Delta or is curious to try it?

even show lap layout and racing line(s)
