Morning folks,

Congratulations to all you guy fighting each timetrial and posting insane times on the boards.
Aliens popping out of nowhere here these days!.

I kind of have had it with the running TT's for some days now and just can't drag myself to try over and over again on cars that are not that crazy happy on the handling, but that's just me, maby to many hours so enjoyed the other things on GT7, blasting around the Ring instock Ferrari's made me smile again instead of beeing frustrated.
I't like my "one week efford" begins to get even smaller now, it's more like 2 or 3 sessions and i'm beginning to losse my interest, even on the ones where i am descent high on the ranking, Lake louise for example, i was top 20, now 38 but i just don't have the motivation to try again, i know good progression would be possible but just don't feel like mega trying.
So respect to all you that keep hammering! , gimmy some mojo dudes!

That said, i had one morning left to set a time in the Vulcan and try to uppen my place on the board between you pricks 😘
Very annoying handling on the Vulcan, the understeer on rotation is difficult to manage because you can't get on throttle to soon, to help it rotate, lifting of seems to help a bit, but i hate having to get to 1th gear to rotate :lol:

It's a fun challenge, but now i quite had enough of it , but seeing the new trial....... i don't know about that, i see myself in tankslap heaven already".... we will see how fast we can go sideways :lol:
Lots of corners on autopolis are sideways material :lol:

But....... did make a little jump on the Vulcan
It's not always easy to find motivation, especially since we haven't tried the TT yet and the aliens have already taken off. My sessions take place late in the evening, i'm exhausted from the work day and i have to sacrifice a little of my sleeping hours to try to scrape off a tenth! I'm a bit like you, there are ups and downs, but I think that little breaks are good and not doing all the TT suits me too!

Can't for the life of me get even a bronze on Lake Louise. Watched a replay, they are very sideways. Tried that and still slow. 4 seconds off a bronze. Should I just give up or are there some easy tips for rally?
There is another thread for Snow TT, I have shared many advices there how to get fast times on snow.

you are welcome :)

The results for TT111 at Dragon Trail - Gardens Reverse in the BMW M3 '97 are over here.

I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards.

Here are some interim statistics for TT112 at Autódromo de Interlagos in the Aston Martin Vulcan '16.

You're damn right I will try! 🤣

And don't worry about your mojo fading, I also had periods where I was lacking motiviation, I guess most of us did. I'm sure it'll come back and you'll catch the TT fever again ;)
Thanks mate, just don't try to hard

True, i'll prob. lower my playtime a bit indeed, for me it's all mornings, 6 AM alarm to have 2 hours of focus on lapping because i don't want to be be the headphone dad every evening :lol:, family still worth a lot more :)
( Only on thursday i do nokia time the crap out of a new TT on the laptop )

maby i just need some extra sleep :)

This new TT... I have to go so slowly in turns to avoid ending in the sand/grass on the exterior, not very fun.

A bit under 2:06 on my 2nd lap (first was 2:14 with at least 3 trips into the grass), don't think I'll enjoy this one.

First laps with the Viper.

Not much fun to drive but i always enjoy the challenge to get the best out of a car that doesn't really match with the track.

You really need to be carefull with the front tires, otherwise you'll get horrible understeer everywhere.

I'm very curious how it performs/handels on this track, not a bad start Ed!,

Sadly I agree, not much fun.

I 'forced' out my 59.7 without experiencing any satisfaction.

Handling this understeering pig around such a cut throat track, where one missed braking point ruins a lap, is a tedious task.

But hopefully with another session I might change my mind about this combo.

Nice time Ed by the way!!

Hi folks. Been a bit busy this past weeks and after trying to get to terms with the snowmobile (unsuccessful so far I might add) and getting distracted with the slidy marshmallow dampered E36, I fiddled around with some assists at Interlagos. Set a 1:28.100 with CSA on weak and TCS 1, but switched it both off as it was feeling indirect and sluggish, albeit smoother. Still quickest with no assists and ABS on weak. Actually quite fun feeling for grip during oversteer. Don't know if there's more time to shed for me, but it should hold for gold.

When the E36 TT came out two weeks ago, my mind was firmly set on picking up the bronze drift challenge once again after a long hiatus from drifting. This was very frustrating at first due to the snap oversteer and weird behaviour on full suspension compression. Really had to learn a thing or two about weight transfer and once Ive figured out how to keep the car from spinning and revs not too high it started to really make fun (wide offset wheels also helped). Never knew Dragon Trail Gardens was such a challenging drift track with possibilities for jumps, huge slides, reverse entries etc. Although being mad fun, getting everything perfectly into one lap was tough. In the end, actual bronze wasn't achieved with full smoking tires, so I uploaded a screen cap of slower attempt plus a bonus lap with more angle and 360 entry.

Before time ran out I did even manage to set a very safe banker lap.

Edit: excuse the bad quality. This was captured on a potato (PS4 slim). The videos are also shared on my GT7 profile.

Well the issue is not only me, it seems.

I'll continue the Vulcan for the moment, this one... we'll see.

Really enjoyed this TT with the M3, even if a 1:49 was a Must Have, but no worries, I'm very happy with this ranking:

As I've skipped the Vulcan abomination, I flew directly to Autoplis to test the Snake.

And 87 kms later...

S1: 0.22.103
S2: 0.40.937
S3: 1.00.054

Honestly, I really don't know what to think about this combo. I've played a lot with the gearbox to stabilize the car. Here more than everywhere else, don't push too hard on the front end of the car otherwise, the Viper will punish you immediatly. Anticipate your braking points, let the car rotate while control it with the gas and the gearbox. It's a bit tricky but doable with patience.

I guess I can shave some tenths in the final sector, the place where I was the less comfortable. I'll definitly come back to secure my yellow score. But not sure yet to want to spend hours here for the ranking.

Sayōnara folks!!

I know your morning routine

As you say, family comes first, that's why I do this when everyone is sleeping.
