Yeeeeah no thanks on this one, but I hate this track at the best of times, I thought Circuit Experience was the end of it for me. Was enjoying playing some GT, but think I’ma go back to PGR or something. Not a chance of being within 3% here. 👴

Here are some statistics for TT113 at Autopolis International Racing Course in the Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe '06.

Am I going mad or is something not quite adding up here 🧐

I wonder how I feel about new Gr 1 challenge...
It took me literally 180 km to set 1 (one) valid lap... So I am divided between.."I don't want to play with you anymore" and " maybe it will grow on me to like it" (I drove Dodge and didn't like it at all from start but now I kinda start learning how to shift weight and when and how not to oversteer)
Anyhow... For now, a banker it is and we'll see later... 😁

Not much issues doing valid laps at the new TT, more issues figuring braking points and not butchering 1/2 turns (and alternating between laps, otherwise it would no be funny).

Optimal is not realistic, given that I am fully able to win and loose 1s in the same sector.

Need to work on it, but I find this TT relaxing and fun compared to the Vulcan one and the Viper one.

Maybe I'll get up to silver but not much more.

G29 back alive and me back on track

I did only 30min with pad and another 30min with wheel here, so there is maybe some more, but not too much, I guess.

After my (luckily) short transfer to pad and back to wheel my short list comparison is
1) counter steer: definitely easier with pad, by far. I was able to be much more aggressive on the throttle
2) medium fast corner: easier on pad, somehow the steering angle vs stick movement is filtered and speed dependent, and for this kind of turns it makes life easier
3) throttle: quite the same, I adapted quite quickly, even at tc0
4) steering precision: somehow connects with 2) that filtering sometimes helps, sometimes confuses me. So on the average turn wheel is much more trusty, not to mention force feedback
5) trail braking: I'm still a noob here even in wheel. In pad is really really hard to manage. Sure practice helps, but I would need ton of practice here

Additional bullet, and possibly by far the worst in pad lapping: man, after 30 min the back of left hand hurts a lot. Not the finger, the top of the hand! Don't know if it makes sense, but it is what happens to me.

So, even though gt7 is very enjoyable with pad, I'm glad the g29 is back with me

Did you lap with the Sauber, or the Gordini?

(I'm already out)

So I nokia tried the 787B ...... right ...understeer.....what is it latel? I have the feeling all cars understeer, sure the Mazda always has had more straight speed capability than easy rotation, but it's getting bit annoying 🤔🤔🤣

Sort of regretting starting this one, track limit at indianapolis is just plain stupid, I hope it's better visible on tv tomorrow compared to that 720 output of remote.

The good side...... headphones + 7b7B = epic!
Did barely gold it with a 3:30.192 that is probably bronz tomorrow morning 🤣🤣🤣

, tomorrow should be better 😁🤣

I need some help here. How do I get the GR1s to turn? In the 787 I'm just ploughing understeer everywhere. I can't get anywhere near a quick time's ghost because I can't follow their line in any corner. I've tried every steering sensitivity from 0 to 10 and it's not having much of an effect. I'm 7 seconds off the top time. Clearly there's something obvious I am missing with this one.

Yes to headphones and Mazda.

No to bronze. That better not be bronze tomorrow. I dread going back! Every car understeers here.
How could you end up in bronze ? you are in gold, with some margin too. Silver maybe, if the WR is really improved.

I have no issues with understeer, maybe you want to go too fast, or are braking too late. At my slow speed this car behaves well.

My Dutch is a bit rusty but I believe this translates to "By Monday I'll have done a 3:27".

Low speed - understeer. High speed - understeer.

Braking earlier than the ghost, not making the corner. Accelerating later, understeering off. Part throttle where they're full throttle (I go off at full throttle).

I'm slow in, slow out. Slow.

Always lose time in chicanes and changes of direction on controller, while you wait for the steering input to catch up to the controller position, but this is weird.

Just did 10 laps to familiar myself with the car and track. No gold yet, but I shouldn't have too much difficulty getting into the gold range. As for track limit, the right kink before Indianapolis got me 2 or 3 times, but other than that I'm pretty ok so far. Probably becaue I wasn't pushing much.

You have to release the brakes...even BEFORE you turn in. While the car doesn't have tons of downforce, it still have some. As you get slower during braking, you will lose aero grip, and if you keep the same brake pressure as you are going at 200mph, the front end will trigger the ABS and it will become very understeery.

Greetings

Been a while since my last post here as I haven't really been focusing on the previous two time trials since I didn't really enjoy them much (Dodge Viper and Aston Vulcan) so I've just been doing my own things. But anyway new time trial and honestly I liked this one, I really enjoy Gr.1 cars around Le Mans so I'm definitely going to put more effort into this. This is definitely not the best time I can do, I can definitely break into a low 3:26 time or possibly into 3:25.9 but not 100% sure on a 25 yet. My only complaint is the track limits here but other than that really fun combo.
