Hey, it's five now! That's missing the Yaris TT!

I do of course understand both perspectives, I'm just throwing in my 2c.
My point on the top 10 is just because that's what GT natively highlights as the 'best' - up to only giving the top 10 ghosts. If they highlighted up to top 15, 50 and so on in the same way I'd also be bummed out to be pushed out of it.
My apologies, I had not loaded the data from the time trial ending last night. Congratulations on a personal high of 30th overall.

Got that sub 2:14 kinda feel, y'know? Will definitely revisit this one - lovely drive!

Having said that, what kind of an argument is that? None of the things you do in a video game matter in the grand scheme of things, does that mean people can't have an opinion on things and discuss them? Then what are you even doing here?
Having an opinion and discussing things. Plus, it's entertaining reading those who poke fun at each other. Which is why I usually read this thread.

Look, it wasn't my intention to rain on @TheNormsk 's parade, I rooted for him and am genuinely happy he did so well. I am sorry it came across differently. Seriously, congrats! Also, when I said I don't see the appeal in having multiple accounts, it was literally what I meant: that I don't see the appeal, and I wasn't suggesting that everyone should see it the same way.
My comments weren't aimed at you specifically in any case. I personally don't see the appeal either. I did create an alt account when I got VR, solely for the purpose of comparison to my main. I don't want to spend the time to run races or TTs on more than one account. I don't hold anything against others, who do have the time and inclination to do so however. Pretty sure Normsk created those accounts for very specific reasons, not related to TT leaderboards, and he appears to have the time to run all three for his own enjoyment. To that I say "Road On!".

And to get this post back on track a little, I generally wait to do these TTs until very late in the cycle. I'm usually able to get a silver time in my first session and, depending on how close I am to gold in that session, may do another 1 or 2 sessions. I rarely run more than 30 minutes a session. I feel compelled to say, @half_sourly 's "difficulty-o-meter" is fairly accurate. First session in that Yaris wasn't even bronze range. It was also the first time in over a year of exclusively driving in VR that I got the whoopsies. Took a break for about an hour, then tried it again and got a barely bronze time and another case of sweaty whoopsie feels. Still about 4 seconds from silver and 12th out of 13th on my friend LB. It was getting late and I figured 1 more session, if for nothing else than to get my daily mileage in for that day's ticket but got distracted and the day flipped and reset my mileage to 0.0. I was all like, "well crud, go to bed or run another anyway". I ran another and, while I did improve the time, I was still 2 or so seconds out of silver. Cost to benefit ratio was not expanding at all so I called it a night.

Oh yeah, same here. I was sure I was way past this, but this thing seriously got to me. I think it wasn‘t so much the track itself but the handbrake 180 I did before each lap. Glad that it‘s over :)

OMG, that Red Bull Competition challenge is gonna be a nightmare, I am getting my new ps4 by next week, so I might have a few days to maybe enter that event and try to earn a bronze time, silver maybe. We'll see what happens next weekend. Good luck guys! Nurb 24th is not a fun track for beginners, even amateurs driving in the field.

Holy crap, I was gold this morning at the Nurb, now I'm bronze. Crazy times.
Apparently some more aliens/pros beat your best time. I know that's gotta suck. Well, don't worry. You'll get back up in the rankings. Good luck to you out there. The Nurburgring is a difficult track to improve lap times, so practice and adequate sleep are the key to not making errors.

Hello there (2)

As my wife and daughter went out on another appointment, I had the living room for myself and could start another session with the S2000.

This time with a nice improvement. 2:14:503

The lap:

I'm still not 100% sure about the braking at the very beginning of sector 2. I also have had better/smoother sector 3 runs which makes me think I may have another push at this time trial.

I know opinions are split on RB one, but I like it as it seems like a cool challenge and feels much more fair than the rallycross one. Hardest things about it are probably bumps unsettling the car and convincing the brain that going faster = better turning.

It's also annoying when top times are going 5 gears down in split second only to shift up two in a while, hopefully it will be possible to get gold without fully copying that.

Hello everyone, it is that time of the week once again and as I expected, we got two time trials this week due to GTWS and I decided to go with this one first because I absolutely love the Nurburgring, X2019 not so much though. So in my first session today best I manage is a 6:20.694 which is not too bad for my first run but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement. I believe a 6:18 may be doable if I can correct all the errors made in this lap but a 6:19 is definitely doable, I could have gotten it on this lap but I made a silly mistake towards the end which cost me almost a whole second. Also there is the S2000 at Grand Valley which I have not set a lap for yet but I will be doing that one tomorrow and then I'll come back to this one on Saturday and then work more on the S2000 on Sunday. The S2000 combo looks very fun and I look forward to driving it!
