Glad I could somehow be a help! That's coolUnfortunately I had less seat time than wanted in Lago Maggiore and returned yesterday for a second and already last stint over 15 laps. So I went this time with the herd and chose the Lamborghini, too.
PB before was 2:08:0xx and I wasn't too happy with the first lap being 2:09:xxx... But every lap I could improve one corner or sector and thanks to the ghost of @Saargasm I could see where I gained and lost some time.
To keep this short I ended up there:

I had the goal of a sub-07 lap time at the beginning and was very happy as I reached this. In deed I was so hyped that I forgot to save (and share) this lap and that's a pity. On the other hand I was proud to see myself being close to @MUC76 and just didn't pass because I didn't want to hurt your feelings, mate! 😂

Now let's see what's coming up next. Hopefully I don't have to go Goodwood track that looks boring but is quite difficult in my opinion. @Lomic : you can do it!
Thank you very much! This is what makes me come back and go for more.Try with mixing up the aids mate, maybe try just using ASM (although honestly I don't think it helps much in this one)
Try dialling the TC to 1 and having Counter Steer on weak.
The fast guys will pipe in but my take is that this one is all on the braking and the cleanest and fast exit. Following the ghosts I get ahead of the top 30 ghost in to T1 but he consistently gets a better exit so I'm braking too late and too hard. Coast the apex exits.
Been running this track for years and there's still always time to find in any given corner. The track being so wide with the transitions between sections relatively tight gives room for so many different lines where the flow and momentum dictates your pace. Taking breaks and coming back with fresh focus helps me improve lap times, where repeating many laps sometimes leads to building bad habits or getting stuck trying to repeat that one magic lap. I hope you find your click moment. Happy lappingHow can such a little track be soo complex? I did 260KM on Tsukuba last night and I only beat my personal best time ONCE with an invalid lap. It seems as though my lap the other night was a fluke.
I asked him on PSN, and he used 0 at Goodwood, he will be joining this site also!do you know what he (partymix007) uses?
To me trailbraking seems to work better with the new physiks, on the other hand managing the grip of the front wheels seems harder. So it's probably harder to get right, but more effectiv if you nail it.@Ed_Night I'm very curious what you think is the part that makes staying in the top 100 here that difficult, is it the amount of necessary trailbraking?, which was a lot easier prior the latest updates?? (Imo) Is this one harder on pad due to that?
I am curious to know why, in case it might help me enter gold territory 😅and then I worked out why
Improvement isn't linear take a brake and look at the best replay's you can.How can such a little track be soo complex? I did 260KM on Tsukuba last night and I only beat my personal best time ONCE with an invalid lap. It seems as though my lap the other night was a fluke.
That won't help me 😅Now on the right tires 🤦♂️
Nice one! It's so easy to lose a few hundredths and that makes all the difference. I tried again and couldn't beat my 1:03.547 controller AT lap with a controller. I'll have to use the wheel to improve I think. I'm still barely gold last I checked. Not safe!Nice one BWX, very good time, this is my improvement today and manged to improve tenfold on my lap around Tsukuba, LFG!!! SO close but the Gold tentpole seems to keep moving every time I get closer lol!

Just pipped @Gorefast yet again!!! arggh Lets go!
Okay, said and done. 😁Thank you very much! This is what makes me come back and go for more.
It has been said before and will repeat it: this is an awesome community! Full of fun and support and there for you if the world as a whole seems to be on a joker lap...
Special thanks to @Famine, other admins and the people who make GTPlanet happen! Wherever I go on this planet I meet nice people, full of passion and respect. Great job!
A happy and healthy year 2025 to new and old friends, the Titans and all other partners in crime! 😘 Peace!
Thanks for finding out, good to know that these settings are definitely competitive. I used 0 on My First Gran Turismo as it was the default and felt decent on that. I used 10 on Goodwood up from 7, didn't know it was possible to go that high so tried it out of curiosity and felt better starting a lap with it. Always good to have another 👽 joining the 🎉, gives us mere mortals a great point of reference of how fast you can aim for on a standard controller.I asked him on PSN, and he used 0 at Goodwood, he will be joining this site also!
