Awww man, Alsace!? Haven't seen that track in a good while.

@Lightpilgrim there are plenty of friendly folks in this thread that has a lot of unique, strong, smart and quick skills with each and every one of these time challenges, so look at some of their old posts/advice to find out how they got quicker and smoother with their laps. You have to also use your own judgement and choose a car from your experience, not based on the meta car.

If you would like, you can add me on the PSN network in the near future, but first I have to get another ps5, I guess you can find me and add me, my ID is rising_glass1. Good luck at Alsace if you give it a shot.

Wow, Jomar. Cool evil time, xD. Four 6's in a row.

The results for TT127 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza in the Gran Turismo F3500-A are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards.

Here are some interim statistics for TT128 at Nürburgring Sprint in the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N '24.

Big thanks for that amazing work you do. I saw like 210 000 participants on Monza, have it increased in generall, think number was approximately 150 000 -ish on average per TT?

That's a very large number of participants, wow...I'm impressed. Apparently, Monza isn't a bad scary track after all. The only obstacle is the first right-left chicane that you have to pass carefully without leaving the track limits.

Just seen the Nurburing leaderboard...

Wow, at this moment, best ranking for @crome @daabulls @eggmann !

And my compatriots @manou @Jeje6410 in the average delta 1.50%...

I haven’t touched the vacuum cleaner yet but you guys are setting the bar high 🌶️
Thanks, although this is always a bit deceptive at least in my case because I don't often revisit an event in the second week, which means I can only drop lower, the question is only how much :D ... but yeah, P4 on the GTP board is ... special 🤣

Kind of, see the main table here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/time-trial-results-and-community-leader-boards.424113/ I think a graph on this would be interesting.

Looks like Monza had the third most participation ever, and one of the other two was the Chaparral VGT at Daytona Oval which basically handed out two million credits for free. This can NOT be said for Monza 😄

I think the Ascari chicane (the one that arrives after sector 2 checkpoint) is the more intimidating one & where one can gain or lose time.

@250Cal "If you use full lock, the steering will "stick" in that position. So, if you use high sensitivity, the steering gets to full lock faster and takes an age to wind off, making chicanes impossible. That leaves you trying to find the balance between having a fast enough steering response to make the corner without horrible understeer vs hitting full lock and getting that horrible delay in the lock coming off. There have been several challenges where I think pausing to change the steering sensitivity part way around the lap may have been worth a try."

wait wait two of you... have you really been stopping mid-lap to go in settings and change sensitivity per-turn (sector) or you just changed sensitivity to something you found good for whole lap? ( I have seen people change TC mid-lap and also brake balance too, but not sensitivity)
In hindsight my post was a bit unclear, but I didn't change my sensitivity mid lap, I just started avoiding going full lock on the steering in chicanes.

It is right up there.

Use the table under the previous spoiler to see the which TTs are the outliers.

Happy TT Thursday!

Well this new combo is one I can get fully on board with - both the car and the track are an absolute pleasure to drive. Easily my favourite TT so far. Also feels like a great opportunity to practice and perfect trail braking.

I'm going to try pushing myself beyond just going for gold and will be going for top 1000 instead. Probably a bit ambitious, but everyone loves a tryhard.

Good luck with your endeavours!

my daily marathon controller run at Alsace has me in a mediocre bronze so I have work to do. Hopefully I can get some wheel time in tonight and at least secure silver.
