Morning folks!

First real impression on the Z4.... i gave it a 7/10 out of the Remote-o-meter cause the delay is not very handy with this kind of oversteer, if you try to prevent it, it's fine, but if you hammer it.... to slow,, 😂 ( for a top time )

So this morning alarm at GT-o-clock and trying to get used to the weight transfering and the squeeking tires.... god there would not be much tire left after some laps, i like slidy cars a lot, but this could be a little bit less for my liking.
Feels kind of heavy but too playfull on the other hand.

Like @Dolph Drago i have the most problem with the final sector, that last corner is a real mistery to me, and i have somuch trouble fixing my breakingpoint there, if i lay my attention to not hitting the grass for setting up the last corner i'm to late and oversteer into invalidation 😂 and when i nail it i'm searching for the Revs that just won't go up 😂

and @330_D dude, that was realy a fast lap you set, still can't get near it 😂

Descent challenge but they could have made it a lot more fun with the right tires!

That said....

Not to Shabbbyyy at all....

Great time and great picture! Is it from your actual lap (minute 1:14 maybe?!?) ? If it is I don't think PD is doing a great job with dirty taken on the track. Nothing is seen from the rear view, probably very little is seen from chase cam, and quite for sure nothing remains on track both visually and physically. I know it's a TT and the circuit regenerates, but this happens also in races.

Yikes, this last turn. My God so many options and so difficult to meassure them (and so much booty twerking).
I am so glad GT7 let's you start TTs lap 2-4 turns before finnish. Otherwise I would fail 50% of them not mastering final T's.
That is funny everytime when you watch Tigney's or other pro's guides and try to remember smallest details being quite sure it shouldn't be too difficult, just to jump in that boaty wiggeling street vessel to fly all around the f.. place not being able to make even decent full brakes after first streight.
Then to say when dust settles - Ok let's learn again how to drive.

Maanaged the gold in military zone of 1:40:100. But it will be much more then first session to bring that gold home.

I'll share my ghost in the showcase when I boot up later if you think it'll help. I'm fast in sector 3 but I also struggle 75 percent of the time in the hard right at the end of sector 2 and that corner is the key for the final piece. I'm not sure how or what exactly I do but when I get sector 3 right I'm gaining on Mr Gear petty steadily to the line. My worst piece is the middle banked right headed into the downhill in sector 2.

Barely hooking the curb whenever possible with you inside front tire really helps get the power down early through the apex as well. I know turn in is not easy with this float boat buy I find catching the curb really helps.

You aren't slow. I managed a magic lap for sure. 🍻

Hmmmmm not sure i will like this BMW one. Ran a few laps last night and managed a 41 flat, need to find another second. I have said before I am not sold that road cars are this snappy upon releasing the brake. I have quite a bit of time in a Z4 of this model year and yes it is lively and fun but when you lift off the brake she is nowhere near as nervous as she is in this game. Which makes sense as it's a road car, people would be in the wall if this was a true representation.

Probl. very true, and you are probl. very right on this!.......... but....... have you ever yeeeeeted it like you do in GT7? 😂
can't say anything about this cause i have never driven one of these 😁😂

I don't know...I suspect the speeds we're approaching and taking corners at in the game are considerably higher than what anyone would be doing in RL situations. At least for most of us.

Thanks mate, it is still a roulette for sure, let's hope we can get some consistency in this one..... and we need that cause my 66 this morgen is already down to a 83 😂 😂
bunch of very fast people lately.
I even tried CSA on the pad this morning but was instantly way faster without it when i turned it off, for me it's realy the last turn, but we all know that when i master that some other corner turns against me 😂
I'm just celebrating my top 100 spot in both trials now..... for a few hours 😂

So indeed not slow.... but also not fast enough 😂

It's more sector times for me than individual corners. One day I'll be blisteringly fast in one and slow in another and the following session it'll be the opposite. Hopefully by the end of a trial I'll have at least one lap where I tie it all together. This one happened in session 1 is all...😂🍻🍻🍻

After stuffing my face with KFC (Kitty Fried Chicken), I decided to have another crack at Sardegna. This was the result:

Not a huge gain but it’s better than nothing I guess. Still more time to find though… I can feel it in my paws. Or hands. The terms are interchangeable at this point.

Agree withthe general sentiment for everything but the lift oversteer, which is why I mentioned it. Tis thing handles like and old school 911, lift the brake and she wants to swing round, that's just not gonna happen on a road FR road car that is this buttoned down, it's not even the M version. There would be dead hair dressers everywhere.

it would honestly be stupidly entertaining watching hairdressers try and drive a real Z4 around a real track similar to this one at speeds never dropping below 90kph and often above 130kph. I'd bet none would survive a lap

Thats a good point, we all forget how much speed IRL is "just" 70-90kmh in tight corner not to say 100+ or 200 in two corners with weight transfer.
We of course don't feel it in much the game - witout g-force actuators or VR etc.

This could be the one @Metalgear9493
You gotta hammer this one 😁😁 you got this 😉
Like I've said before, I only chase my own personal limit, which is a 37.18x. But that will require a very good final corner on a perfect lap. Chances of that happening are relatively remote, the same as me witnessing man step foot on Mars in my lifetime (about 7.48%).

But hey, it's a blast of a combo so I'll certainly have motivation to continually lap, even If I'm beaten. I know Damian will be very intimidated by my current lap so he might bail, the AT_1826 dude is Adam Tapai's Arab account, he is the one driver that could dethrone my time.

My settings:

Default ABS (weak is horrific with this car)
720 degree rotation mode
Controller sensitivity -2
FFB 10,10

it's very interesting, with my Fanatec GT DD pro if I but the FB on 10 in game it becomes extremely hard but I should try to and lower the steering wheel parameters ! What steering wheel do you have @Metalgear9493 ?

Very good approach of only chasing your own limit, but afters all these fine provided fast ghost, it would be well deserved if you ask me ;)

And this will be a global P27 in the end :D
Very generous @Vule , I’m really struggling with this one; if I finish in top 100 I’ll be amazed! If I finish P27 or below I’ll send you £50 by PayPal 🫣

I’ve got a good feeling about this one mate, you seem to have taken to it really well and finding time everywhere; now all you need to do is start hiding your replays, get 1st position and then the villain arc is complete 🤌🏽

IMG_1662.jpeg

That’s all I got so far and I had to use CSA strong to avoid crashing everywhere, I’m team @Dolph Drago on this one…! Fair play to @330_D and @Gomario JSP for showing us how it’s done, amazing times sir 🫡

Got my time down to a tenth below the gold cut off but will need to find a few more tenths to be safe I reakon. It's a strange TT, the car is fun but 3rd gear is so much longer than 2nd it is insane (what is it with the germans and shocking gearing?). If you drop down to second the rear lights up, use 3rd and she's lugging.

I want y'all to know that I'm clocking out from work early this morning...just to start up on the Sardegna TT.

No, this is isn't a complaint. 😆
