Scooby TT, i couln't get myself to try again, ended out of the top 100 but totally fine with it,
Z4......., i guess i spent some more time on that one, i had to much possible PB laps invalidated at the very last apex of the lap that i got frustrated like crazy...., not my morning 😂

It seems I am the opposite to most on this board. I struggle with low grip road cars, but high downforce is my jam.
I have done 5 laps on the new TT for a 1:36.9xx I was sloppy at Degner 2, the hairpin, Spoon and Casio. Low 36, high 35 should be possible.
Trust the downforce and don’t brake too much. The SF car is a dream to drive.

I am actually curious how it would be after latest update. I remember, maybe a year ago we had similar TT, suzuka, maybe Formula car, or similar,very fast. You shared your feedback how car don't want to turn and I do remember I didn't had similar problems, with motion control it was just turning nicely and I fished that TT in front of you. So now after update, I think my observation after F3500 on Monza, it don't turn in on motion control but what I read, controller stick turn in nicely, on that TT.
I am out of country and can't try new Suzuka, but I am just curious how it is on controller vs motion control now after update. Maybe enough people share so we can get some image of how it is.

My goal with the new one is anything sub-4.00%. Once that's accomplished I'm happy and it will just be about seeing how much I can whittle it down from there. I very much doubt I'll cross the 3.00% line. So far, my initial morning marathon controller run has me in a mediocre bronze. Generally I find high DF stuff much more difficult on the controller than the wheel...

Haven't tried yet, but will probably take me 20 laps to even get a valid lap. Great effort man.

I can't say how it drives on motion control but on sticks it drives how SF cars always have driven. Lots of grip, slow to turn in, lots of understeer.

This now TT is not exactly my cup of tea. That car I cannot drive fast even on straights I guess, and Suzuka is not a circuit for childs. Will give it a try just to get some money.
Moreover I'd like to go back to Sardegna. I did about 20 laps on Saturday, achieving something around 3.5%. I took another 20 laps on Sun and was not even able to replicate the time.
I'd like to have another try over the week end to understand is Saturday I was over my limit, or Sunday I was not spot on

First 10 laps stint at Sardegna with the Z4.
Comfortably inside silver zone, optimal is 0.8s from gold though.
Combo is nice but I have no idea how to take some corners (like last one). Not sure if I'll continue practicing or I'll do something else (like some CEs).

Since the Suzuka TT disappointed me, went back to Sardegna. Today I wasn't in the positive feel like yesterday. I did manage to come within one tenth of my personal best of 1:39:39 with a 1:39:124. I was able to lower my optimal best to a 1:38:729 though.
Since I love this TT so much & have no choice as well due to the Suzuka TT, I played this TT in 2 phases of 1 hour each. Because of the flowing nature of this track, even if the lap would get invalidated, it didn't matter as driving a good car around a good track is a clear motive to keep trying & I shall do so tomorrow.

Yes, maby it's a bit better now a days compared to lets say the Mclaren VGT we had at Suzuka, but still i hate the way the Formula's handle in GT7, Monza was a real prick for me too, i will not say i'm bad at it, could be far worse, but the road to a descent time is just frustrating for me 😂 😂 .... i just like slidy roadcars..... ( except for the Z4 so it seems timewise...) 😂😂
So i will await what everybody yells before i will even consider to take part, i hope it works for you mate!

I can see why it can feel this way, but myself in particular I'm so excited. I'd been dabbling in the Daily A's Qualifying since earlier this week to clock times in these cars 'round Suzuka, so I'm happy to be able to try with y'all for another two weeks in this TT.
I'm partial to laps in proper race cars on proper tires and quality circuits. I'm gonna be locked in for this TT like I hadn't been for prior ones. LFG 😎
