I'll still be sticking to Sardegna TT for a while. In order for me to attempt the Suzuka TT, I need to be in the right frame of mind as I know how vigorous it's going to be.

BTW, even though M/T gives more braking grip for corner entry, I've always ran the Sardegna TT on A/T because some turns (1,4 & 8) need to be precise & upshifting/downshifting manually for an amateur racer like me is a distraction.

Well, I think that's silver secured which is my primary concern in this one. I doubt gold is happening but I'd like to take a few more tenths off at least if I can...

My session 1 gold at Suzuka didn’t last long as I predicted :D

So for session 2, in the spirit that rentals are faster, I grabbed a donor and went at it.

My optimal is in the mid 36s but can I put it together? Nah. So for now 0.002s will have to do!!!

3%, 3600th. Such nice round numbers! :D

This one won’t last long either. See you for session 3.

Morning folks!

Saterday morning means quick hotlaps before having to go renovationstyle again on the home, a little time to destress...although hunting for thousands is kind of stressful 🤣

I'm beginning to get the hang of the Z4 a bit but it keeps beeing roulette, just to many difficult corners which you just cant stuff up for a 37 lap.

But eventually I had a slightly better run which I think secures a top 100 for this one 😁😁

Had a few laps that were very close 🙊

But fairly happy with this one although a mid .8 should be possible ....but ill take it!

Great time buddy!

@Dolph Drago all the best mate, I’ll be waiting patiently for you to return to TTing! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything will go smoothly ✌🏼

Target complete at Sardegna and hopefully safe top 100 in the bag.. I’m not overly motivated to go back but if anyone wants to goad me into doing so (I’m looking at you @Gomario JSP) I may return 😁

🤣🤣 🫠🤗😇 whoop whoop

Hey folks!

So I'm not the best driver out there and I'm always having a hard time with those twitchy high downforce cars. Still I thought I give this a try.
So I did a lap and tbh it felt quite good! But then I saw my result🥺

I don't get it! Sure, I guess I could squeeze out a few tenths in the hairpin and the chicane and maybe I didn't hit every apex perfectly. But still, I can't see how to improve enough to even get into bronze territory here. I was on full throttle almost all the time! It feels like I'm doing something fundamentally wrong but I just can't figure out what it is🤨

Maybe you guys can give me some tips? Here's the video of my lap:

Your lines are pretty good, but I feel like using auto is probably making it tougher for you.

Maybe try ABS weak?

OK, but are you going to give it a real shot? ;)

Today managed to go faster than my PB by a few hundredths with a time of 1:38:939.

On a side note, wish we could drive our car with the racing exhaust (if fitted) & BOP applied to this as well. The great thing would be driving the car with the added effect of a racing exhaust note which would be a pleasure to my ears. In real life too, my all cars have had racing exhausts as I love driving in general & for me it's mandatory to have an exhaust either in a car out here in GT or in real.

Morning folks - back in CA and had a decent session in the Z4 again this morning but just wasn't feeling it and struggled for motivation and some focus. I'll come back to it, but went for a quick spin (sometimes literally) at Suzuka, and honestly it was easier than I expected. Into gold quite quickly and after 30 minutes or so ended with the lap below using ABS default. Didn't feel the need for traction control or CSA. I think 35's might be on for me if I can tidy up the hairpin and Spoon.

EDIT: Ghost shared @sinncere27, but honestly, it's not pretty in places

Slowly but surely continuing to pick up time at Sardegna. I lost a little bit of time in the first right hander of sector 2 again and had a squirrelly left hander at the beginning of the third sector. I just don't know if I'll have enough in me to get a sub 1:38 before my last planned session tomorrow.

Steady lap Dolph

Your first sector is quite good, and indeed you lost a little time om S2 compared to me 1:05.278 / 1:05.135. But fairly close, so that means work on the 3th sector! 😁😁

Morning all,

Little bit Z4 tired so was stupid enough to try Suzuka... ok..it's doable but funwise it's everything I was expecting.... 🤣
But that last chicane is just a real struggle on the pad, so no hammering this one..
@Barareklam maby it's a little better with these physics, no trouble rotating and very controllable without TCS, I'm just getting to old for these kind of combo's 🤣🤣
