I dont think my gold in Suzuka at 1:36:953 will hold...
Same here. On vacation now and no chance to go at it again.

On the one hand all the aliens are at it and had plenty of practice at this combo for multiple events recently. On the other hand they are all massively bunched up in the 34.3 to 34.5 range. Therefore I'm a tiny bit hopeful that improvements will be tiny if any. We will see.

There is still hope for us! If we get through the weekend our chances will improve greatly. Let's keep the 👽 distracted with some quantum stuff

Improved to a 1'14.478 with same settings (default ABS, 720 degree mode, 10/10 feedback) but this time I used controller sensitivity of 7 instead of -2.

Did my lap in like 3 goes, or 4 miles worth of driving. So fast that my faulty modem wasn't ready for it so the ghost didn't upload😭.

Had to manually upload it to my profile incase anyone wants to look.

Made a quick livery for both the SF23 and the Evo III and set out to improve upon my controller times switching to wheel. Beat both times and while the Eiger lap isn't anything to brag home about, I'm pretty stoked about the lap @ Suzuka as getting into gold asked for an improvement of around a full second. Glad I kept pushing for a couple more laps after frustratingly not getting sub 37.

Definitely more flow and easier braking on wheel, but exit of Degener 2 kills me every other time. Throttle control here isn't easy.

...failed 🤮🤪😂😂😂

But hey P69 😏😂😂 and in front of the father of all pad aliens Samurai_405. 😁 But he is probably not putting to much effort into the time trials i think.

Alright, mission 1:14...

done. 😌
Lost some time at the final turn, so a .8 should be possible.

Great lap times and again beautiful "quick liveries"! Have a nice weekend!

I am trying to figure out where I am losing most of the time on Eiger Nordwand TT, hoping to improve that sector/corner and gain one two tenth, so I made video comparison, upper part P1 lap, lower part mine. I used chase cam in this video comparison hoping that I will see lines I am taking better. Anyhow, it shows I am losing equally 0.2 per sector. If you ninjas who are on 1:15.1** or lower see where I can gain a tenth or two, give your best advice.

Very difficult to see anything wrong with your lap. What are your optimals like? is it just a question of stringing the correct set of sectors together? Not sure if it translates to the controller, but I am definitely a little bit quicker with ABS weak.

Managed to break the 1:15 barrier.

Very difficult to see for me in this view, I'll take a serious look this evening and upload my lap ( altho I'm kind of kicked down the board with all the 14.9 ninjas......looking at your @half_sourly 🤣, nice!

Hi,

I have been lurking for a week or two. Work. Farm. Poorly wife to name but three.

A couple of quick sessions at Eiger Nordwand has delivered a, just about, satisfactory 1:15:9xx. That was good enough for a top 1000 time yesterday. Today it's around top 2000! Blimey!

Slightly off topic...

I have noticed that it is almost impossible to register a decent time if the wifey person is using the internet for anything. This, I assume is due to lag created by her "presence" on the broadband. So - Is it possible to have 2 ISP's on one telephone line please?
I may have to purchase another broadband contract if it is. Or just ban her from the internet when I am using GT7. 😬

Even more off topic...

A man walks into the library and asks the librarian...

"Excuse me miss. Do you have the book on Pavlov's dog and Schrodinger's cat please?"

She replies...

"Hmmm. It rings a bell but I am not sure where it is!"

Best regards to all here.

Ian.
