Hello there

I found another tenth at the Alpes.

Being within the 2% is good enough for me. 😃

This one is really tricky at the sharp end and usually I'm good at finding time on these tires.

Sorry for the video bomb but I recorded some gameplay from my last unfruitful session and had this last sector that I thought was pretty insane. Chasing the #1 ghost. I'm in his trunk for a good bit... At .3 offset


Yeah third sector is very evil on this combo, I'm getting better in the first 2 though but that turn in point on that fast sweeper you show is very difficult to nail and I just can't seem to find the sweetspot 🤣
 
Very difficult to see anything wrong with your lap. What are your optimals like? is it just a question of stringing the correct set of sectors together? Not sure if it translates to the controller, but I am definitely a little bit quicker with ABS weak.

Managed to break the 1:15 barrier.

Congrats on 1:14 that's fast!

My optimals? Well I have 1-2 tenth more in me. After more studying my lap, I think I am losing most of time on exit of T2 just before end of S1, If I nail that one there is hope for improvement of PB.

Well after saying I wasn’t sure where to find time, here I am, a quarter of a second quicker! ABS weak, but honestly don’t think that’s really helping me that much and I think this is more about getting a little faster through the hairpins. Had a 25 lap run and got down to a 15.240 and was about to call it quits, but optimal said .1 so went back in and found another half tenth. First two sectors are still my weakness, particularly getting out of the second and fourth hairpin. Second half of the lap I’m quite respectable, and to be honest I’m pretty pleased being this close to the top of the leaderboard… or to put it another way, I’m closer to p1 than Lawson was to Verstappen in Melbourne Qualifying 😜

Will have another run in the morning after watching the Grand Prix. :cheers:

That’s me done for the night. Improvement again. I’m beginning to minimize the loss of time coming out of the 2nd and 4th esses.

There’s a 1:15.2 optimal but it seems random if I do well or poorly on the track. Sometimes I swear, one pixel makes all the difference.

Finally, I was pleased to get into the top 10 of my friends board. You all are getting fast!

Morning folks,

Fighting hairpins this morning,
I had a lot of progression on the first two sectors, they are a real tricky to nail all but eventually were rewarding and could rather be consistent in the .4xx splits.
But my real trouble zone is the long righthander and sweeper after that, I binned somany .4 splits there, not even funny anymore 🤣, so I'm kind of the oppositie @Metalgear9493 🤣

But there was a lap it all came together quite nice for me, there should be another tenth in that last part, but not much more for me but quite happy with this lap!

Hope this stays top 100 😁

Nice progression!, still time to find on the S2 split mate, my fastest this morning was a high 3 but ended meeting Barry on the long righthander 🤣, PB S2 was .408 I believe so there is room there 😁
Kind of a difficult TT this one beeing so tactical in the fist two sectors and when you finally nail them .... then you still have to meet the worst 🤣

I'm positive you'll sub 15 this one, almost there 😁
 
Looking for help on this TT, GTP Team! I cannot, for the life of me, get my car to turn into the hairpins. Also, on exit of the first left-hander hairpin I cannot stop understeering wide. I have no idea how the top times get that turning angle and speed to come together.

What gives?

I must say I'm trailbraking the crap out of it and on my first session I couldn't realy get it turned either, turned out I wanted to fast, a little less speed and staying close to the kurb seems to realy help rotating it, the exit of the hairpin is indeed a thing, few pumps of throttle seems fast in my case, full throttle results in a Barry or the ghost just pulls away.
What I did wrong in my first run was letting it kind of die in first, tiny throttle input when in 2nd again after rotation in first seems to help a bit though!
