Being new here, are there any "famous" TTs that are big favorites of the community? I don't mean your personal favorites, but are there any which the majority of the community remembers fondly?
Not sure if you know, but on this thread's opening post I maintain a list of all TTs. I know it won't tell you which were favourites, but it is some information. Also in there is the 'main table' which has data on each TT - participants, percentage of each medal, etc. which might help track down the very popular ones, difficult ones, etc.
Oh, my fault. I hate both and messed it up...
Easily done; there have been a few.

Well, I did 182km at Daytona last night  But it paid off, I managed to get down to a 40.595 and a much more respectable place on the leaderboard than ~149,000  I managed to set 40.619 three times in one session to get there, though!! And I still can't catch @NicoGmbh!

Was feeling good about my first go at Lake Louise, until I realised I'd confused the gold time for the number one time, and I was still sitting in silver  Good thing there's still a bit of time to go on that one.

Hi, I am glad to have recorded this time in the first hours of the TT... I have moved back 300 places since my registration and if I had waited, I would still be 120 places lower.

Do not take me as a reference because I know a significant retreat from Watkins Glen and especially Lake Louise... I lose my ridiculous Mojo, baby 😆

Same feeling as you on this snowy track. My optimal would allow me to enter the gold for 1 tenth but my valid laps are 5 tenths slower. 😅

The power of them doing an easy TT: Through the power of being next to the Daytona one, more people have already tried the Lake Louise TT in less than a week than did any of the other dirt/snow TTs in the full two weeks.

In hindsight it's pretty smart of PD to do - they know they have an engaged playerbase that will react to "free 2 million credits!", and then people stick around to do TTs they wouldn't otherwise do because they're already in the menu so why not.

@half_sourly @Barareklam

Well done both of you, I gave it all this morning but espresso was not enough...
Didn't hit a thing a didn't understand it either..

Yesterday remote I did multiple 2xx on S1 ,
But this morning all grip was gone on exit T1, nomatter what I tried it just wasn't there, hardly .5xx so after an hour of T1 I called it a day....

Maby one more morning session tomorrow but I'm a little done with it to be honest 🫡

btw ninjas, Easter holidays in few days (at least here) so I though which TT is coming up now so we drive it for the Holidays but there is no point in betting on what we are getting, right, @crome is going easily to win the bet, what the new one is Tomorrow ;) right?

I'll let you guys know as soon as I find something, but you can start guessing anyway ;) ... in the meantime this current one might become the first ever since I started doing TTs that I'm going to skip entirely. Had little time and equally little motivation so far (dirt / snow is just not my thing at all) and tomorrow I'm leaving for easter. But happy to see there is fierce competition among you guys ;)

CU later.

While all the Senators, Elder kids, Bloodthirsty Aliens and Goats are playing in the Snow Camp leaving far behind a Daytona Joke, I just had a chance to come back to it after some good week off.

Just want to tribute all of you sub 40.6 Maniacs - how in the greenhell did you guys do it.

I thought it will come easy after just enough laps - but hell no.

I even thought I would "smart-out" all of you using McGyver tricks but none of them secured any better to me.
THat includes:
  • reducing FFB, maxing Wheel angle to 2500deg etc
  • using a string hooked to the wheel limiting max steer lock (actually worked well but still me being close to yellow line is so far from being neet)
  • Using a cushion to apply pressure to a wheel with my thigh to have better control on perfect steer inputs (worked but with results same as above)

So just want to say again. Kudos to best of you.

PS Still laughing at myself seeing @Mistah_MCA guide and comments how easly and quickly he nailed yellow line on PS controller while me rigging ropes and pulleys to the wheel being not even close to it
:)

45 minutes of driving, improved my snow time by .104
Is it good enough for a top 200 with 7 days remaining ?A man can dream ...
Sans titre.png

The 40.593 at Daytone being 46xxth with 17 hours remaining will definitely stay top 5000 though, it was my goal so that's good

Confused Curb Your Enthusiasm GIF

Best track in the game in my opinion but... worst category of cars. What to think...
Literally the face I made when I saw this. At least a mortal like me has a chance at a quick ish gold and move on.
Oh man, my first top 10. I'm pleased because this was actually my current goal, now I need to find a new one

Insane mate! Congratulations! Is your signature still current, i.e. are you seriously on a DS4 without even the benefit of the Dual Sense triggers?
