I'm so ready that I'll use this totally not overplayed joke about racing in Daytona;

(Yes, it isn't the original game's theme song, but Daytona 2's has far more hype for this sort of thing. And man I had no idea that someone spliced both versions together...)

Well, I've never heard of that joke so it's not overplayed.

And you just given me a idea... :sly: :D

Well, if I'm honest, the real version of this "joke" revolves around using songs from the first game, especially the one where the singer goes "ROLING STAAAAAARTTT!". I just made a little spin-off with a more badass song, that's all. :sly:

Now I am certainly curious about that idea of yours... I'm expecting a badass beginning to the race, if you catch my drift.

It's funny becase Daytona also had a drift mechanic, I'm so witty

If you could post the original joke, I would like to see it hahaha

Well, who knows?

I catched your joke when I readed catch.

We both should grab our coats and leave?

Well, considering that you start every video with a rolling start, it's obvious that the only choice for this would be this exact song;

(Y'all welcome, by the way. :sly: :lol:)

Well I sure don't know, but keep that as a secret, it'll be more interesting that way.

You sure catch on quick...

My god we really need to grab some coats, because this is getting cheesier than a Tom & Jerry episode...

And well, since this is a chill series I've decided on what to do on the start. :lol: Thanks brother!

Well, I can't leave since I'm on the CEO room and I'm the fricken CEO. :lol:

We now have commentary for Test Race #4 at Talladega! Thanks to @Niku Driver HC for the commentary! Also, a little surprise that I intend to do in every video when the series starts. Also, race #1 will be run either today or tomorrow, so please, if you think someone is interested in the series, get their butts over here ASAP! :D :lol:

Daytona 500 pushed to week date after heavy rain hit the Speedway

Rain hit Daytona, FL all over the weekend, pushing the Daytona 500 to a week date. Race will be ran during this week.

Actually it was São Paulo that was hit with rain and the lights kept going out and coming back, so I didn't have a fair shot at running the race. :(

Of course the technical issues arise just as the series is about to start... Curse you, Mother Nature, you and your blasted lightning strikes. Can't you leave people who are trying to run B-Spec races alone?

I tried once, with 6 minutes to go on practice, lights went out.

Second try, I started practice, no one had even completed a lap, boom, lights out.

Went to ETS2, was able to complete a 1100km delivery. Went back to NR2003. When I was about to click DRIVE, lights out again.

Every time the lights went out, they came back in less than a minute. I was like, WTF Mother Nature?

I do hope that at least you have some sort of device to prevent your computer from going off without warning every time the lights go out... That was a mistake that I made once, and it resulted in part of my PC's hard drive being fried and nearly costing me the entire computer.

Also, apparently Mother Nature is either a fan of ETS2 or she is bored to death by it to the point where she falls asleep, because how else do you explain that she let you drive over 1000 kms to complete a delivery and then cut the power off once you changed back to NR2003? :lol:

I don't and what's funny is, this computer is from 2005, and has gone thru a cooler "explosion", two power supplies, multiple trojan horses and incountable power outages, and it's here, 10 years and 7 month later, alive. How? I don't know. I don't think it can be killed, to be honest. :lol:

Probably bored. :lol:

Still, if you have the Money, it would pay to buy an UPS unit (I dunno what is the correct term for it, but it's this thingmajig that you plug your computer's cables to, a bit of a power supply unit for emergencies. Also, that is one sturdy computer, good lord! How has it not died yet!? :lol:

In my old part-time (intern) work we had those units, but they didn't work that well to be honest. :lol:

I'm still trying to figure it out. I think nothing can kill it. :lol:

Really? I do guess that those units may have been bought on a tight budget, or were old as schmit... :lol: Mine has worked relatively well.

Try to drop it from a building and see how live it is after that, I dare you. :P :lol:

Well, I was working for the state government, mind you. :lol:

I might... when I get a new one. :lol:

And we just had the gimmicks curse hit us! With 7 minutes left on practice, @DCybertron leaded with a 46.6. Out of the blue, @Formidable makes a whopping 45.3. Then, he finds another two seconds and gets a 43.3. BY HIMSELF, WITHOUT DRAFTING. Well, 4 minutes later, while trying to pass a pack, he makes 4-wide with @RACECAR on the backstraightway and speeds from 200 to 240 mph in less than the 1/4 mile. Well, needless to say that the game crashed. I'm looking into it, but possibly the +fullproc command attempt was a failure. :lol:

I put some extra spedy quikness in my car provided by Sanic :P
