Well, the race that counts, right? hahaha

Oi, morten and DCRRaikkonen still have positions in the top 5 at the grid, and they sure as heck didn't have many bad performances as of late...

Besides, if a "Big One" crash happens near the top of the field, I'm more at risk of having my own darn car totaled. What happens if DCybertron's engine explodes again?

I still wonder how the Ai can be so freaking consistent.

@DCybertron defend yourself and the Pontiacs!

I'll need to channel my inner Denny to climb the field.

IT'S DENNY TIME BOYS!!!

Is the sign-ups still open for the next race?

Oi, yes they are! If I had the Save Game Editor for NR2003, you would even be able to race the 500 haha

EDIT: Someone need to remind a certain team that 4 wide at Daytona NEVER works. 3 cars in that 4 wide were from the same freaking team.

Ok, I'll take the 2003 #39 Dodge.

Well, that wasn't a long race for me. Caught in the big one thanks to some berk's bright idea to try and go 4 wide up front.

Fox Sports Reporter: It seemed like you had the race in the bag coming to turn 3 but out of the sudden you just got beaten by the eventual winner. What happened?
Michelin: Well, I thought I had a tire go down or something, because the car just wiggled strangely into 3, so I slowed down because if I really had a flat, I could coast to the finish and have a top 10, but it was just imagination and I blew the chance of winning the 500.
FSR: With your result, you are tied on the lead. The championship is long, but how do you feel about your chances of a possible championship?
Michelin: After the poor results in the test races, this gives us new hope. We still have 19 races to go, the last one is worth double points so there is a lot to be conquered. We are going to regroup at the shop with my teammates and get better for the next race.
FSR: A frustated man after letting the 500 slip thru his hands. Back to you, Mike.

Also, if anyone is up to doing logos for the next races, feel free to post here. I'm probably going to stick with the format I put results and everything for the Daytona 500 as it's cleaner and easier to scroll by. :D

Logo is from the 1998 Daytona 500.

DcrRaikkonen after the race " The 9 and the 10 made it 4 wide waaaayy to early in the race and killed most of the field's chances of winning but TKU will come back stronger."

Dear lord, three of Michelin Racing's cars retired, now that was a race to forget for almost all its drivers... How in the heck did we still manage to snatch 15 Team Points from that debacle, despite all three cars suffering a DNF!? We We do have to thank our boss for that, since he managed to avoid both the Big One and our collective bad luck, now that's what I call "swift dodging"...

And the video starts with that hybrid dual-voice version of Daytona USA 2 which I shared here before... Good to see that appear in the video, well done Mich. The Daytona reference happened not once or twice, but three times just on this video alone. 👍

We could had more if my AI didn't decide to slow down from 210 to 198mph in turn 3!

Nice you got all three references. I can tell the last audio bit I'll be changing through out the next videos until I find one that I like, and the Daytona Night race will feature more Daytona USA references. hehe

Driver of the #29 Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet, Vetteman24: "Well we had a strategy of laying back and let the big one happen and then race from there but I got caught up in it and my race was over before it really started. I just want to say great job to my teammate @GTRacer22 for getting a great top ten finish. But its a long season and we are just getting started."

Well I told you to get rid of those damm Roush engines, didn't I? It's not fault that you still think they're race-winning material...

What can I say, hadn't I done my homework I wouldn't have understood half of those references. ;)👍
It should be interesting to see how far can you run with those audio bits at the end, if anything it should bring some variety to the videos...

Well, Logano got 6 wins last season, clearly they're race-winning material
