Schmiggz I think the tire wear was set to x2 in that race but yeah I agree the tires didn't hold up. Maybe due to the rain we had. I am going to do some more tire testing tonight and see how it goes at Bathurst
 
Okay i have to announce a mid season livery change i will now run the 84 HTP livery (secret livery) and there is a new one that is un-useable at the moment that i will use once the dlc is out
 
Alright Gentlemen.
Time to wake up.
Dust off the helmets
Wash the sweat out your racing suits and under wear.
Check the oil and other fluids.

In less than 12 hours the gates to Mt Panorama will be opened.

Round 3 of the GT 3 series at Bathurst will begin.

If I'm lucky, my team mate Manny and his #86 Vail BMW M3 GT will be joining us.

The fans paid bi bucks to travel to the land down under. Let's put on a show they'll never forget.

Patience and the usual pit strategies will play a huge part.


WHO WILL SURVIE THE MOUNTAIN?

ADDED: Why do I feel someone will post a wild video of racers on the mountain to build the hype.
 
Guys tonight is our 3 race of the series, and to this point we do not have a clean first lap:banghead:. Lets all be calm and patient tonight and let everything spread out a bit and settle in. We will have 2 big straights to pass on, use them for smart safe passing zones:tup:. I also like to remind people you cant win this race on the first lap, or the next 4 after that, enduro racing takes patience and consistency. Lets have fun tonight and im freaking pumped to race with you guys:cheers:. The vodka will be flowing in my pit stall so beware :lol:.

Added: i noticed even the slightest bumps from other cars and walls scrubs off top speed in a hurry, be kind!!
 
Ok, to add to mphile77 post.Let the start unfold as I know it will. :eek:
Get to the first corner and go. As we all head down to the mountain. Pick a spot and settle into in. There's 30 laps to go.
Its a fast corner so relax, brake a little early and go. In fact everyone brake a little early to warn the drivers behind you.

Tips:
-If you know your faster. Consider pitting in early and race the circuit with no traffic around.
-Lap 15 will be bloody with pit crews and cars jamming the pit row. Consider staggering your stop(s).
-We had pretty good success with the PS4 voice chat last week. So we'll use it again. If guys want to divide up. I have no problem. Manny and I will be on the Team BMW radio frequency.

-The mountain is rough and everyone should be cautious. Look ahead and be ready to avoid a crash.

I got more confidence in you guys racing tonight and I think we can pull it off.

A crash is a crash, if it happens. Relax, try and scramble back to the pits and get your car repaired.

* Watch the traffic going in and coming out of the pits. * The pit exit lane is short.
 
When I crash it's because I was avoiding skippy in the way. Don't worry, I'll be hanging out in the rear of the pack anyways. Hope I don't slow you guys up (or down) the mountain. :scared:
 
I'm sorry folks, but I didn't have stable internet for much of this week, and while it's fine now, I haven't had a chance to download 6.0.

The download won't happen in time, so I'll see you guys next time out.

Thanks @tjger, for hosting. I must of hit the walls 4 times, and pitted at least 3. All I had to do was not try and keep up with those faster guys and I could've finished a little better. But, it's still my own damn fault I hit the walls. Good stuff thanks again.

I had some good battles with you man! Awesome race and is unfortunate what happen to you, but hey! That the world of motorsports!!! :cheers:
 
I haven't had this much fun since..... Damn It's been that long?:odd:
Anyways I had a lot of fun racing with all of you and to the new guys I haven't met... You guys awe Awesome!! Clean driving and moving to the side to let others move ahead, That Is quality Driving gentlemen! :bowdown:


I can't wait to see the Final Chart cause mine said I finish in 4th place... And I know that Is not true cause I was in 6th before the race finished :confused:

Now I will be Marking my calendar for Dec 4th... Silverstone you are NEXT!!!! :cheers:
 
I would like to send a big shout out to my pee jug because I barely made it to the 15th lap for a pee break! Also thanks to br1 for spotting when it was in use!
