Keep those RWD's slower.(the Infiniti already is) and turn on tyre wear.

From what I recall in S4.2:

Infiniti was not incredibly strong in any area (like the Mazda had cornering, Volvo speed), but this meant it was easy to drive and it did win a couple races.

Nope, it had good drivers and stuck in the draft so it could stay somewhere near on occasion, it only won in Autumn Ring because of the reverse grid and even then I was taken out chasing kartman down. The Infiniti has always been ****, hence why we left it back in Season 3.

DBC will return, but with a possible different name...
Ok, Furi...

He did what you do.:P

 I get you now

So I reckon i've sorted things now, pre-quali is in for next season incase of overflow of entries, I might allow 20 max (so that 12 in 100%, 4 more to fill out the field, and 4 more will not qualify.)

And of course, little matter of Laguna Seca this weekend. :sly:

I suggest this:

5 Teams making up 10 full-time entries on the grid.
6 Independents making up 6 full-time entries on the grid.
Teams can have a 3rd part-time driver who isn't a registered Independent and can only drive for that team on a particular weekend.

That way you have 21 drivers involved and 16 on the grid.

On top of that you can have Independent Reserves if interest is high.

Its very confusing for the part-timer like me to look at the tables now and see drivers driving for multiple teams in a season and not knowing which races they raced when. This seems simpler to me.

I don't like having 16 drivers for the sake of having 16 drivers. I'd much rather have 13-14 good quality, lag free drivers than a room full of 16 drivers with lag everywhere.

True but there is always going to be 1 or 2 of the top 12 or 14 who can't make a weekend. If people have to qualify in then they have proved they deserve to be in the race.

And this season has been mad with a lot of part time replacements, cover, and swaps. But it proves there's enough interest.

EDIT: Full Suzuka layout to debut next season.

It is going to be hard to work out a way to make everyone happy.

Maybe if you/anyone else who is sensible to run a over flow room so everyone can race. Maybe one for Teams and one for indepentants? Just a suggestion:idea:

Also, this isn't gong to help matters but I would like to enter a second driver who is evenly paced to me. He will FR you tomorrow

No worries with that. I don't want to "seperate" independents and teams as such as that is a little unfair. Pre-quali ensures only the best get in.

Next season candidates for the Monaco slot:

Monaco / Indianapolis Road / Rome

Indy Road. We had great races there in S3 and I'm not sure why it was kicked off the calendar this season.

Indy Road was dropped for Laguna Seca, it came very close to coming in. Probably will be back next season.

Thoughts on the longer Nurburgring races? Keep one of them?

If you are only going to keep one nurb keep the 24h. 👍

Just sorted calendar out.

R01/02/03 Motegi East (Laps TBC)
R04/05/06 Suzuka Full (Laps 8/8/8)
R07/08 Nurburgring 24H (Laps 2/4, pit stop race 2)
R09/10/11 Monza (Laps 9/9/9)
R12/13/14 Spa (laps 7/7/7)
R15/16/R17 Indianapolis Road Course (Laps TBC)
R18/19/20 Laguna Seca (Laps 14/14/14)
R21/22/23/24 Nurburgring GP/D (Laps TBC)

So a return to the old S2 calendar in many ways with a quadruple-header ending at the Nurb GP/D, Indianapolis back as well.

Thoughts?

24H Nurb? Not when GP/D is on there, one is enough. Replace it with Fuji.

I say keep Nurb 24h, its a great track, Fuji is just boring and it's probably harder to overtake around it than it is at Nurb.

I don't see the reason for hate. But I do see a Season 6 Teaser:
