i know penalties may cause unnecessary probs but are the lines in the pics acceptable. pic 1 is turn 4/5 after 1st chicane other 3 are Ascari chicane. Just trying to get base line to stop confusion.

Well I wouldn't class that as acceptable some of the pics none of your wheels are even on the track no wonder you are getting good times

The pics were set to see what is and is not acceptable before race. It would be better to have some understanding before the races not after.
I'm doing 2.04's which is not quick and does not use those lines.

General Guide from me on a lap:

As you can see, I try to keep two wheels on track at all times. The outside strips on the exits of the corners allow you to run wide, but if you end up too wide you are in the gravel, so you do noy lose much time.

So on the green is acceptable thought two wheels on track which means Tarmac

Most of the time the car has two wheels on the tarmac. You can't have 4 wheels on the green stuff. Use this as a reference

I've been doing 2.02-2.04 and that's not cutting the corners

Without tuning I got a low 2:04 but I reckon I could knock quite a bit off if I eliminate the understeer.

Edit @gedi - NGTC or Next Generation Touring Car is the new formula used by the current BTCC. I hav my own formula and new rules taht will come into place for Season 3 hopefully.
