I'd prefer to see High Speed Ring return. And I agree with VRracingfan, both the GP/D and 24Hr layouts are crap for touring cars.

The 3 of them in(Grand Vally Reverse a must) and both Nurburg rounds out. 9 race schedule would be brilliant. Maybe Tsukuba opener and Monaco finish?

I got a few pictures from our Autumn Ring race.

All the cars waiting for the lights. They look much better then last year.

All cars safely through turn 1 and sticking to each other.

Tombrooks runs wide and I take advantage to overtake him.

granturismo5005-3.jpg

And he drifts through the rest of the corner

Tombrooks getting on the high kurbs

Tombrooks entertaining once more with this drift. He reminds me of Kobayashi.

Loving all these photo's, my Kobayashi style is rather impressive  anybody up for a practice tonight? Oh and just for the record I vote for Nurburg 24H for removal in favor of Grand Valley East 👍

I would also like getting the Nurb tracks removed (let's face it, I suck at the Ring) and at least Grand Valley and High Speed Ring on the calendar.

As for practice, I'm up any day except Thursday, when I'm racing elsewhere :)

My thought is that Monza is essentially the same as the High Speed Ring, similar style of racing. Decision to be made by end of next week.

Is anyone opening a lounge tonight. My mate would like to test today if that's alright? Can we have headsets on?

IMO only Nurb Nords/24h should be dropped, the GP/D version isn't overly long & a good track for touring car racing.... High Speed Ring definately is not for touring cars, with bumping & the odd ugly rear-ending, High Speed is not a good fit.... I'm in favour of any Grand Valley layout & Cape Ring Inside.

The name suppose to be Untouchable Team Racing (UTR), made a mistake when i wrote it. lol.

DB Motorsports is now Durex Racing unless there is further notice.

Expect a strongly worded letter from the local fire-and-brimstone priest...

That name may be a little  ... Why not use the F1 team name instead?

I had trouble staying in the room last night. ropey connection, unless I kept getting kicked :scared:

What little testing I got last night though, showed me that I'm going to be better off in the BMW
than I would have been in the Focus

A pity because I do like the Focus, but its only good for about 8 laps and then the tyres are dead :ouch:

That's the beauty of this series though, the front wheel drive cars are generally faster than the rear wheel drive ones in the first part of the race, then the FWD cars' tyres start to go and then the RWD cars claw back the gap 👍

GTP_Akmuq and MrMulsanne - That Infiniti has got some great pace as well 👍

👍 She's only going to get quicker as well.

OFFICIAL SEASON 3 SCHEDULE

PRE - Nurburgring Nordschleife Masters Exhibition?
01 - Cape Ring Inside
02 – Autumn Ring
03 - Monza (Change Weather)
04 - Grand Valley East Reverse
05 – Cote D’Azur Monaco
06 – Tsukuba
07 – High Speed Ring (Change Weather)
08 – Laguna Seca
09 - Indianapolis Road Course
10 - Nurburgring GP/D

The Nordschleife is gone, but as a pre-season exhibition race I may not rule it out.

Cape Ring Inside returns. This was TOCA Race 1 - Season 1, Race 1, and very fast, tricky and tight.

Autumn Ring is in, a classic touring car track I should have had in sooner.

Monza is in, but may be wet...

By popular demand Grand Valley East is in the schedule.

Monaco is the half-way point of the season yet again.

Tsukuba returns yet again.

High Speed Ring makes a comeback, yet again with changeable conditions.

Laguna Seca swaps with Indianapolis Road Course.

Nurburgring GP/D yet again ends the Series for 2011.

Nice, but personally I think Monaco should end the season. What do you think?

I will make a judgement after this weekends Nurburgring Gp/D Finale.

So as it stands we have 22 entries (6 teams of 2, 10 independents). And the Renault Megane Trophy.

Megane trophy will be awesome. Maybe we could do a 6 laps enduro at the ring? It would be like an All-Star game in American sports and there would be a forced pitstop. No points of course.
