Highlights would be rescuing the win at Monza after being crashed off my Kiwi. Coming 4th in the Championship despite missing 9 of the races (I'll be at all of them next season:D)

Lowlights would be Vtec and RacerPaul at Tsukuba, the first 2 rounds of the season where all I could hope for was a podium and the fact the BMW was still better than the Volvo and Ford after ballast.

Id say 1st 2 rounds battling Sumo and last rounds again with Sumo, HSR was also very good with people like Akmuq and Eclat.

Agreed with the low point at Tsukuba, that was horrible, but all is well now :)

Oh yeah, getting 2 wins at High Speed Ring was also good.:D

Highpoints: My 1st two wins at Grand Valley, fighting with neljack, sumo and others on various occasions, winning the other races and getting podiums too.

Lowpoints: Spinning from the lead at HSR, losing the lead at Tsukuba, losing the lead at monaco, losing the lead at Nurburgring...

For me:

Highpoints: High Speed Ring, got a win and my 2nd at that track, Laguna Seca, a pure drive out of my skin, Nurburgring race 2, epic.

Lowpoints: Indianapolis, Monaco and Autumn Ring...

Highpoints: Grand Valley with consistent & good results, HSR with my 2 best races of the season.

Lowpoints: Monaco and Tsukuba all the way... certainly not my tracks, basically lost motivation to even try and succeed.

I've just wrote the story of Race 2 last night in my Race Reports thread, a commentery of the whole race, not just mine, as, let's face it, that would be boring.:sly:

Link is in my sig.:)

That report reminded me that I need to start saving replays.

A good report AKmuq :) , race of the season i think.

I think that the person with the most wins should win out of neljack and Carbonox, like in F1 on a points tie.

Just to 🤬 neljack off...

Death By Carbon remains in TOCA

Carbonox, the person mainly considered the #1 driver for Death By Carbon Racing, has announced early in the 2-month break that his Season 3 team will remain in TOCA for the upcoming season as well.

"I won't go into details yet", the 17-year-old Finn said in an interview. "The only thing that is sure that I will be racing under the same team name as last season. The car, color, teammate, additional sponsors, all are still unconfirmed." he explained and asked to stay alert during December, when it's likely to get some more official information.

Carbonox finished 3rd with a Death By Carbon Ford in his first full TOCA campaign, recording 9 podiums. He was also a contestant in the later half of Season 2 with a Mazda Atenza, earning 2 wins and 1 pole position on his way to a promising 9th place. His teammate Knelly appeared in TOCA for the first time in Season 3, putting up consistent results similarly to Carbonox and improved his pace especially in the late season, coming close to the podium numerous times.

"I'm going for the title now that BMW's are out of the way", Carbonox said when asked about his targets for the upcoming season in general. "The only drivers ahead of me in the standings were Sumo and Neljack, both in a BMW, which was, even with the 50kg penalty, noticeably difficult to beat." he said with an annoyed voice.

In the final words of the interview, he gave a brief hint: "Especially in the late season, I didn't really get along well with the Ford. It's very likely that DBC moves to a different make next season. I'm looking for torque over grip as I found the Mazda in Season 2 easier to compete with as it had noticeable pace on the straights." In a possible situation that the next season becomes all-FWD, he might not end up returning to Mazda just yet, but he has his eyes on a specific car that he finds likely to make an appearance in Season 4...

In a much more half-arsed interview, akmuq said that he hasn't done anything about teams, he will probably take the Honda and will win the championship.

Well, that's the typical akmuq style, he says he's gonna win the championship and then makes excuses for not even reaching the podium once in the first meeting :sly:

I sooo want to launch Season 4 but I know it will drop off with a two month gap before race 1...

I somehow knew you're going to become teammates, but while your situation looks good at first glance, everything's gonna fall apart when you find that none of the cars fits you :sly:
