Wooh good to have ya on board. First post updated with correct car specs and dates!!!

Also regrettably I may remove mics, so many people I do not want lag. Also tempers may flare on occasion, I don't want people to hear crap.

Yah, I didn't do the submitting myself yet...

Too bad not everyone seems to have the same sense of humor as the truck series guys :sly: Oh well, the main TOCA series might actually be some pretty serious business...

Sigh... right when there's practice, I become busy...

I'll try to cram more practice in over next 2 weeks prior to series start.

Tonight:

MRT were quick, Akmuq has it low speed corners, I can run from Turn 3 to the chicane flat :)

AIR Racing's Honda piloted by Boyce was surprise of the night, very quick in the Honda

Jamie's BMW was shocking to look at owing to its paint and very fast at starts

Carbon's Ford was fast, as was Knelly who has gradually found time.

It looks very close. More tests will follow!

Dude I can run from turn 3 to the chicane flat as well, you just had draft.

If I really wanted to I could take turn 2 flat but it wrecks your tyres for hardly any advantage.:(

Carbonox
You aren't the only one :) It's actually pretty easy at least with the Ford.

Yep could take 2 if wanted. 4 can be taken but still prefer the ever so slight lift just to be on line

No, I just ride the kurbs massively going flat. I don't see the point in having the line for there.

I think 4/5 is really easy when you go literally straight through it without lifting off the gas. Sure, it means it's harder to prepare for the sweeper, but it's such an easy sweeper anyway that it's almost impossible to go wrong.

That was a good practice. Able to gauge what the competition is going to be like, i cant begin to think that any of the other entries would be noticably quicker than what I saw tonight. MRT are going to be a good team, would be good to see the Monster team at a practice before the season kicks off too. Not sure about the Fords, we'll have to see what else they can do.
I too was suprised at the Honda tonight, being able to contend and sometimes beat the competition makes me feel i'm happy with the car. My biggest problem that i'll have to work on is the standing starts, everything else feels good.
I cant believe that I thought the final race tonight was over at the end of lap 2, hence why i ploughed straight into the barrier after the line :-(
Bring on more races!!

Is it me or NGTC cars can take more punishment? Their was a fair deal of door rubbing but everyone kept it together.

I don't think they take anymore punishment if you're talking about crashes... At least they break down for a while when they're steered into a wall because someone named Furinkazen was in a dangerous spot and the guy in a black Ford was trying to avoid him :ouch:

Erm I was up your inside...

Whatever, I still had the fear that you would hit me, so I made some extra space and then the car went out of control :ouch:

I still need to work on my battle skills. To be honest, it's a panic-causing situation when I'm in the middle of a big group, with several cars in front and behind. Gotta get better prepared during the rest of the practices

All the cars appear very well matched I reckon. Honda is surprising me...

Infiniti is slow as hell, however I think GTP_Twissy is fast so that should even itself out.đź‘Ť

The Volvo seems to have tons of mechanical grip however, I think it will be good at Monaco and Laguna, like my old Honda.

I'm still wondering, why was I the only one who had smoke coming out at the starts? It didn't make me start too badly, I was actually surprisingly quick off the line, but it still interests me if some settings are different to the other guys.

Same here carbon. Reckon as we are FF drives, that has something to do with the amount if wheel spin. Fast off though.

GTP Twissy is currently winning at Concours...

Another dangerous entry? :nervous:

Glad I'm not so bad as I thought... With TOCA cars, I'm not certainly the qualifying champion, but rather a guy who gradually makes up positions in a race, so maybe I'll actually have a chance to win some race at Cape.

I was smoking off the line, and every corner for that matter.

Qualifying pace is only important for race one. This series is all about overtaking rather then outright pace.

I'm going for a win at Cape.:dopey:

Same here. Last season I was slowest usually over a lap, but picked up points through people's mistakes. This season I feel I have more speed over a lap as well.

Little reminder: 1hr 45 to submit your final details. Entry List will be published tomorrow, and then we will sort out the last technicalities for the series.
