3 idea's are under discussion in the Stewards Panel. You will know soon.

The Infiniti was very easy to drive, RWD, but had no performance. Season 4 may see it being dropped, already looking at new cars...

But the idea is that it will be better over a race distance than the FFs despite being slower over one lap. Carbonox is right in that new parts should be added to it in order to allow it to compete.

Weight reduction I think.

Boardman was a complete mess. Taps Plato then causes a pile up and claims that it's not really his fault as he wasn't interested. Well done to him though on his first victory :)

I can confirm I'm now a BTCC-addict. I never really bothered watching it since ITV4 was a hard to find and hard to remember channel. I saw races 2 and 3, the Mini's, a bit of some old series which a Morgan won and Porsches. Never mind Autumn Ring's high kurbs, that's a different level!

Knockhill always delivers. Boardman's incident reminds me of why I don't have safety cars in TOCA

And Shilton getting massive air off the kurbs as well. The only other race I watched this season was race 3 I think at Oulton Park, which was also epic. I had never bothered with it before cause watching WTCC was crap and I was just presuming the same about BTCC.

New kerbs at Knockhill this year, see Chris James in action in quali...

Btcc >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> wtcc

You're wrong.

Over a lap BMW are quickest, but prone to spinning ~looks at DK~ .

That's only because of the last corner. If you go wide there, not only do you have something like a 75% chance of spinning out, but you lose a crapload of time in the first two corners trying to clean up your tyres...

Or alternatively you can take your foot off the throttle and not go wide on the last corner.💡

In all truth that triple apex last section is horrible. Running side by side I saw a few drivers in practice and races getting spat off their.

I don't like it but only cause I can't perfect it. You either get 3 apex's but lose loads of speed, get loads of speed but get nowhere near and apex, or go for a certain apex which ruins you're lines for the other two.

Not long back from Knockhill. The new NGTC cars are a lot louder than the old cars. Managed to get a distant photo of James yesterday. Knew he was high of the kerb but when i seen it on tv, how good or lucky was he not to roll it.

Stu

Sounds you like you had a good time, but our NGTC's sound better :D

Wow! I spent one month testing out my car and tuning it to get a best time of 53.9 at Cape Ring Inside only to find out that PD haven't corrected the suspension settings bug and so my testing had all been pointless. I swapped over my settings just now and you know what I did within two tries? A 53.8! I am really really p*ssed off with PD right now. Making this mistake would've been acceptable on release day but 10 months after!?

Well I'm hopeful of a podium at the Autumn Ring even though it's not my strongest circuit...

Dan, some tuning will be required! :)

Is this for all cars? I take it this has opened up a few doors for us?...it's a good thing isn't.. In a way coz we can be quicker

Good in that we can go quicker now. Bad in that most of us have been wasting time for a while.

If we can tune poorly tune ourselves to good results at Cape Ring we can tune ourselves to great results here.
